Chapter 2- Cameron

Cameron P.O.V-

I  am really excited after meeting the group yesterday, I can't wait for the group meeting today. I did my morning routine and then went down to eat breakfast, my mom then asked me if I have used my pills, I quickly responded yes and then grabbed my car keys and was about to head out when my mom stopped me, she then told me "baby you know you are not allowed to drive, it can be very risky because you don't know what you can do" I got very upset and lashed out at her and said " you are a very bad mom, how can you tell me I'm going to do something risky, I have been on my meds and you said it was going to stop me from doing anything bad, you know what just take the key and keep I'll walk to school" I threw the keys at her and walked out I heard her calling after me but I just ignored her I then walked out the gate and left it opened.

 was heading to school when I saw Madison walking with some random guy, i then walked up to her "Hi Mads", She looked shocked to see me "Oh hi Cammie" She said smiling "Oh this is my brother Malikai but you can call him kai" I looked at him and he was very cute "You're cute" I said and he blushed and Mads raised an eyebrow at me, I was quick to change the subject, "You are going to school right, let's walk together" They both nodded "I expected you to have a car" Mads said "same here" I said, I then explained what happened in the morning "Well we're walking cause I just felt like it, neither me nor Kai felt like driving" Mads explained. We finally got to school and I saw Mads pull out a glove and put it on to open the door when we got in. She then took it off neatly, put it inside of each other and disposed of it, she then put sanitizer on and I quietly observed her. We were about to separate so I said bye to both Mads and Kai "Hope to see you again Kai'' I said and winked and I saw him blush, it was cute, Mads raised her eyebrow at me again but I pretended not to see it and walked to my class. After 10 min of being in class, I didn't want to be there anymore so I asked to go to the bathroom and I took my backpack and went to the bathroom, when I got to the bathroom I went inside a stall and took out a paper from inside my backpack and opened it up and inside was drugs,, I then snort it twice and quickly cleaned my nose, it is what keeps me going and stop me from committing suicide, I rolled my sleeves to the scars on my hand from cutting myself and I cried and thought that the world would be a better place without me, I always hurt my mom even though all she did was care about me and I feel like they are all going to get tired of me one day and leave, thinking about it I pulled out my knife and slit my wrist I don't even feel the pain anymore I'm numb to it, I then cleaned the blood and put band-aid on, I also clean the knife and returned it, I took one last snort of drugs and wipe my nose and tears and went out of the classroom. I felt the sudden urge to do something destructive so I went to the janitor's closet and set the room on fire and I felt the fire alarm go off, I quickly ran out of there, I then saw all the students and teacher running out and all I could do was smile as everyone ran out of the school. 30min later the firefighters were quick to put out the fire and they let everyone back into the school, but they were still looking for the culprit. I always do some risky shit once a month but I never got caught. After 8th period it was time to head to the group I was actually quite excited to go. I quickly headed there and when I got in, Brook, Cam, and Mads. "Hi how was today" I asked them Brooks was quick to answer "the fire alarm that went off ruin my perfect hair, it took 1 hour to do it" I just stared at her, I then went and sat down on the other side of Brooks since Cam was on the left side and I put my leg on her table. I couldn't care less about her hair. Mads then came up to me and stayed like 2ft away like I'm some kind of germ but based on her disorder it not surprising "Were you flirting with my brother" she said as she carefully brought out wipes and wiped off the seat next to be, when the others heard about flirting they were quick to surround us and Mads was quick to ask them to keep their distance "You were flirting with her brother ? wait you have a brother" Brooks said "Yes, I have a brother and my question is not answered Cammie why were you flirting with my brother" I just laughed "Why not he was cute and also he blushes so easily" mads does not seem to like the answer "Look I think you are a nice person, but kai is too innocent to be with someone like you" The sentence to be with someone like you is something I did not want to hear again it brings back a lot of unwanted memories, I got really angry "What the do you mean by someone like me, what's wrong with someone like me, you are one of those people who think I'm deranged and broken right well  breaking news I'm not, so you have no  right to classify me as a broken and deranged person" I stood up and was about to hit her but then Cam stopped me "Calm down its not like that" Mads looked horrified but I couldn't seem to care. I was about to leave when Mackenzie walked in or should I saw Kenzie she walked in with all black ripped shorts, fishnet and boots and she seem to have a lot of piercing, I  was guessing this was Mackenzie's other personality, she then walked up to us "What's with the fight, can I join" She said as she pulled out a knife, we were all shocked. She then laughed " Scaredy Cats, I ain't doing anything she then walked over to me and whispered "yet" into my ears she then went over to brooks "Ah Ms. Brooklyn" She said and put her hands over Brooks shoulder who still seem scared. She then took her hands off Brooks shoulder and walked toward the door but stopped before walking out and said "Thanks for the gifts" I was confused but then she held up my phone and Brooks purse, she had probably stole it when she came close to us, she was legit a professional stealer, before she left she said this is is repayment for the gift I was confused until I felt a wind pass my face and a sound to the wall when we all faced the wall, she threw a freaking knife and it missed my face by an inch, her aiming was precise this girl is crazy I see why Mackenzie seemed scared of her other personality. She then left. "I'm not done with you yet" I said to Mads as I walked out. I couldn't care less about the phone. I could just buy a new one, but I am more interested in Mads brother Kai now that she seems agitated on him being someone like me, I will make sure I get him and make her mad. I don't really care about her brother. I just care about proving that I'm not broken and I wonder what her face will be like when her brother falls for someone like me, her words replayed in my head "someone like you".
