My dream had been strange. I had felt strange while dreaming. Sometimes, my dreams felt real, like fragments of other lives. This was the only thing that scared me, the fact that it may be true that these were my past lives. It is just so confusing.

Yesterday was different. There was something a bit too familiar with that dream.

I wasn't sure if it was the voice, or the behaviour that felt familiar. But I couldn't wake up immediately. I stayed in bed with my heart racing. I had been trying to calm it down.

I dreamed of the first couple. They were taking a stroll in a garden. They held hands together, which was something I deemed very bold in the older days. The girl had been wearing a conservative frilly peach dress. While the guy had been wearing some sort of tights. A uniform that looked as if he was in fencing lessons.

They'd talked about mostly sweet things. The girl had raised a few concerns, but the guy was good at making her feel better. Almost like how Alec had made me feel better yesterday. I thought there were similarities. Which is why I thought that maybe the dream was based on my conversation with him. That particular part was engraved in my brain for some reason. I could still remember it even now, although that was something that never happened before.

But later in the conversation, the girl talked about her arranged marriage with someone else who had far more money than the guy. The guy wasn't exactly poor, on the contrary he was rich. But this other potential suitor of the girl was far richer.

Their expressions changed from happiness to sadness. It was then that I heard a name being uttered. It belonged to the guy. I forgot it, but it was just on the tip of my tongue. It sounded old but fitting. Swoon worthy.

The name was uttered by the girl, in an effort to calm him down. She told him they'd find a way. She wasn't going to let the other guy marry her. Never in a million years, she swore.

I could feel her uncertainty on that topic. Plus, I felt like that was not all. Like there was something she wanted to add, but felt restricted. By her mother maybe. Her mother behaved as if she was mine. I wouldn't be surprised if her mother was the one who arranged the marriage.

Nonetheless, I spent my weekend free from anymore of these dreams. I sat at home relaxing by listening to music while fixing my wardrobe, and doing anything else that could clear my mind. I was trying to think less about Mickey and this whole crazy situation. I wanted to forget about the what ifs, and the why's. But this only ended up working half the time.

Monday, I woke up and headed to school after a routine morning breakfast. My mother, being the part time housewife she is, drove us to school.

Right now as I stood by the parking lot, waiting for my mother to pick me up, I was thinking. It was only a few minutes since my friends had left. Maybe two. I wouldn't be able to even approximate how much time had went by since they left, with how much thinking I was doing.

I spotted three people heading to the parking lot out of the corner of my eye. While I was thankful for the distraction, I wasn't really happy to see who I had the unfortunate luck of seeing.

Mickey.

He was heading over to his mom's car with Chloe by his side. Luke on their tail. They weren't in a hurry or anything. Quite the opposite. He didn't look like he even wanted to get in the car. That sight annoyed me, because I knew how nice his mother was. And yet there he was, keeping her waiting on purpose.

Hold up, why was he even with Chloe? I thought there was something 'suspicious' about her. Since he was busy spying on her at 1am in the morning and all. A slight annoyance tried to creep up into me, but I suppressed it.
