Isabella Lupin sat at the dining room table in front of her parents and brother with a scowl on her face. The fifteen year old had just been expelled from Beauxbatons Academy of Magic.

Beauxbatons became a place that lifted her spirits to new heights. Within its enchanting halls, Izzy not only found friends but discovered a happiness that she hadn't been able to find at home with her brother. The life she had found within the magical walls became her main source of happiness, it was a place filled with shared laughter and love between her and her friends. The more time she spent at school, the further she felt she drifted from her own family.

Izzy, with her dramatic flair, sassy charm, and mischievous spirit, shared delightful moments with her best friends at Beauxbatons. Together, they infused the school's refined atmosphere with a touch of magic by creating harmless pranks and plotting ways to bend the rules. Despite their initial disdain for the unfortunate poshness of Beauxbatons, Izzy and her friends managed to inject a sense of joy into the school days so that they were filled with laughter and entertainment.

However, all good things come to an end.

Madame Maxine summoned Isabella's parents for a discussion, expressing concerns about her behavior and perceived influence on others at Beauxbatons. Following a thoughtful conversation among the professor and parents, a collective decision emerged – it was deemed in Isabella's best interest not to continue at Beauxbatons. Drawing on connections and negotiations, they orchestrated a shift that saw Isabella starting on a new chapter at Hogwarts, where fresh opportunities for growth and a change of scenery awaited.

Izzy's discontent grew like a storm within her.

The news of leaving Beauxbatons, a place she had come to consider the perfect place for her mischief, for her friendships, and also for her mental wellbeing, cast an awful sense of horror over her demeanor. The idea of change weighed heavily on her, and an air of unhappiness clung to her every move. As she thought more about the transition to Hogwarts, the unfamiliarity of it left Izzy grappling with a sense of loss and a yearning for the familiar echoes of Beauxbatons.

She didn't ever want to be near Remus, Beauxbatons was her safe place away from him, and now she was being ripped away from it without a choice.

Her parents were incredibly upset with her behaviour.

It was all harmless pranks, wasn't it? The whole situation was far too overdramatic in her eyes. Maxine just didn't want the rest of the students to rebel. Psh, as if they ever would. Most of them were goody tooshoes anyway.

She didn't want to leave her friends. Beauxbatons had changed her identity. At Beauxbatons, she wasn't the girl who let her sister die. No. At Beauxbatons her friends saw the situation as it was; a mistake, something she couldn't control. Beauxbatons helped her silence her inner thoughts, Beauxbatons was her getaway. Sure the school itself was terribly boring and sure she thought the majority of the students were a little too snobby for her liking, but she didn't want to leave! Beauxbatons felt more like home then her own house did! She liked being with her friends, and of course she had been through some horrible experiences at the school, but she didn't want to leave...

She didn't want to be near Remus. Nor did she want to constantly experience screaming matches with him at school like she did at home. Their previous summer had been filled with relentless arguing and draining confrontations, it lingered as a haunting memory. The nervousness surrounding their interactions cast a gloomy mood over the anticipation of the holidays, as Isabella found herself dreading a repetition of the dynamics that had become the norm.

"We are very disappointed in you Isabella." Lyall said calmly.

Isabella had to force herself not to roll her eyes.
