Friendship

The relationship that makes you feel loved,
It is a string to pull you out of that deep puddle of mud.
Be it pure, be it superficial,
As long as you are in this, it makes you feel real.

Its not a liability you need to pay,
If its toxic then leave, if its healthy, stay.
Friends are pearls on the thread that is friendship,
You will loose them all if you loose the thread's grip.

Talking for hours, having hundred photos is not what it is,
Being able to understand and being there for when needed is a bliss.
Life is too short to evaluate the affection,
If its joy in the present, its indeed a perfection.

An excellent friendship never existed nor it will,
But cherishing the friendship of present is the ultimate happy pill.
