The Ketchum Twins in Alola

Trial and Tribulation!

Jordan went and did the first trial before going to bed and she won against the Gumshoos. She did the trial in between the last chapter and this chapter. So after Ash has his battle with Kahuna Hala, Jordan will battle Hala. Also, just realized that the couch is where they eat... so I'm adding a small couch by the door.

"Won't be long now! There! Yeah! Here's breakfast!"

Rockruff started rubbing against Ash's leg.

"Hey, careful! I don't wanna spill it, 'kay?"

Ash set the bowl of Pokefood down. He then looked at the couch and saw Jordan still sleeping.

"She's normally up before me." "Jordan's had a long day yesterday, so it's only natural that she sleeps in." "Really Kukui? What time did she get to bed?" "I think around one in the morning."

Ash started eating.

They looked at where the voice came from and saw Jordan sitting next to Ash eating a pizza slice. They jumped when they saw her.

The doorbell rings.

"I'll get it!"

Ash opened the door and Officer Jenny was there with a Gumshoos. Jordan peaked over his shoulder.

"Aloha! Good to see you." "Hi Officer Jenny. You too Gumshoos." "Hey." "Well, well, a partner? I give it the Heart Stamp of approval." "Thanks to all of your hard work, I was able to fine a very capable partner. Thank you so much!"

Jordan plopped her head onto Ash's shoulder. Officer Jenny and Gumshoos saluted Ash and Kukui.

"Wow, good for you, Gumshoos! That's really cool!" "It's obvious Gumshoos is a patient and tenacious Stakeout Pokémon. I estimate the compatibility with Officer Jenny to be 99.7%." "Ash, I understand your sister and you will be participating in the Grand Trial today." "That's correct." "Right!" "Wonderful! I'd like to you to Iki Town in my patrol car. May I?" "That'd be great! I'd love to do that!" "Sure, it'd be quicker that way." "Thanks very much. You drove a long way just to give Ash and Jordan a ride..." "Thanks for reminding me! Here's Ash's commendation certificate! As representative of Melemele Island, I present this certificate from all citizens thanking you for your heroic work. Here!"

Jenny handed Ash his commendation certificate. He took it.

"You should be used to being a hero by now. Right? You've saved the Pokémon world like..... I think 11 or 12 times, I'm not surprised that you saved an island in one day."

(I know he's saved the Pokémon world 13 times. :P)

Kukui, Rotom, Gumshoos and Jenny looked at the twins in confusion.

"Oh yeah, I did do that. But I had the help of my amazing sister and friends." "Too true." "Anyways, thanks a lot, Officer Jenny!" "Pika, pika!" "Same Pikachu, same."
