Kaido Oneshot

Brand new day, brand new life for Claudia Salvatore the new transfer student to Seigaku. She stood in front of the gate then took a deep breath (Hope that no one will recognize me.) She thought but she was mistaken; once she entered heading to the principal's office, everyone on the halls and corridors started started gossiping and talking. She only can here the words that she hates more 'ruthless, indifferent' but what stroke her mind and made her stop walking is the word freak.

**Flashback**

In a big mansion in Lochden, Claudia's hometown. She was locked in her room and all what she can hear are blaming words and she is a disgraced to her family. Claudia has an unique rebellious character. She wants to do her stuff her own way and not copying others or the family's protocol. Due to this, she became violent to the limit that everyone started calling her anger freak until one day Claudia suddenly coldly said from behind the doors "Mother, father...I know that I'm a freak who doesn't feel regret or pain. It's not important that I live or die, right? So take off these cuffs and let me end this." These words made the parents decide to give her a chance to interact with the outer world that's why they traveled to Japan and got registered on Seigaku.

**End of Flashback**

Claudia didn't say anything, just stared at everyone in the corridor with an expressionless face then continued walking to the principal's office. "Miss Salvatore, we are your parents? Why did you come alone? There are some papers that I need them to.." The principal was saying but got interrupted by a piece a paper in front of her face "No need for that, I can sign these papers. I have my parents' formal delegation according to this paper." Claudia coldly said. The principal was shocked of Claudia's attitude and her lifeless face "Your class is 2/7. You may dismiss." She said and Claudia left without saying a word.

Several weeks passed and still Claudia didn't have friends. Although her body is wondering around but still feeling that she is locked in her room chained by the cuffs until the day that the principal proposed that the school activities and homework should be done in pairs (partnership) which led that Claudia would be Kaido's partner for the whole year. There was some kind of funny chemistry between them. Both of them are the silent and mystery type; Claudia began to attend Seigaku training and games as Kaido's partner. She started to have interest in the game without knowing the reason why. She began taking notes and point out methods of improvement.

"What's wrong me? Why whenever I am with him, hearing his voice, seeing his serious face and sharp eyes..I feel that there is something in my stomach...something like butterflies." Claudia was deeply thinking but still maintaining her straight expressionless face. "Hey! Are you listening to me?" Kaido said to attract Claudia's attention. "Give me my towel, dreamy girl." He added after noticing that Claudia was trying to avoid looking at him. She does that whenever he wears his black tank top. Claudia didn't like that fact that Kaido called her dreamy head and ordering her around; therefore, she tossed the towel to his face "Here it is! Happy now, Viper." She said then left. Kaido was shocked of her reaction, it was the first time that Claudia actually reacts...neglecting the fact being called Viper, Kaido smiled (Great, now you are trusting me and letting me come to your world.) He thought with a smile on his face.

Since that day, Kaido was teasing her on purpose in order to force to react and express herself knowing that she was once known as anger freak. One-day in the school's canteen, Kaido and Claudia started to have their usual quarrel "Salvatore, Kaido...what's wrong with you two. You used to be known as the quite couple and now you became Double K Sound Trouble!" One of the teachers said then left. "Now our nickname is Double K Sound Trouble, sure everyone will start calling us by that. Better hurry up because...." Kaido was saying but Claudia punched him in front of everyone. Tears were running down from her eyes "Why...why! I thought you were different but...Why!" She said and ran outside. "Hey, Viper...go after her." Momoshiro said. Kaido looked at the rest of the team and they nodded then ran outside searching for the running away Claudia.

It was raining hard outside "Where did she go? Sure she is a unique one." Kaido was saying to himself and all soaked under the rain. Break time was over and still there was no sign of Claudia but either way he had to go back to the class. The school day came to its end and no one saw her; Kaido was still searching all over the place until he saw Claudia's figure laying on the ground "Hey you!! What are you doing here? I was worried about you!" Kaido said but she didn't reply. Once he got closer, he saw a sharp razor in her hand (No, she didn't) He thought then checked her pulse and if the was any kind of cut or injury but he thank God that there wasn't. Kaido held her close to him "Are you listening, please answer me!" He said but got astonished and shocked. Once Claudia opened her eyes cuffs appeared on her arms and legs, darkness was everywhere to be seen...words of blames and disgrace can be heard "Is this where you were hiding all this time?" Kaido asked the girl which is still in his arms. Finally, Claudia opened her eyes then sat away from Kaido, cuffs were still on her "No one cares, I'm a freak which no one care if I live or die. Even you Kaido, you don't care although I thought you were different." She said with no emotions or feelings in her tone. Kaido warmly smiled to her face then hugged her "Stupid girl, if I really don't care; how come I'm here. You don't know how much you mean to me." He said. "Really, you really do care about me?" Claudia softly asked which made him hug her tighter as a confirmation. The cuffs broke and the darkness faded away. Claudia's smile was really wide, innocent and pure "Thank you Kaido." She said then stood up "Let's hit it back, I don't want to blame for getting you sick before the game day." She said while still smiling. Kaido smiled back then extended his hand so she could hold it "From now on, we are going to hold hands....forever. Everyone should know that we belong to each other and that I'm your salvor." He said then started running out heading to the school gate while holding Claudia's hand.
