Chapter 1: A New Start

hey kiddos, this is my first time writing an actual fic so feel free to give advise or correct me or whatever :)
You will also have a set vibe for your winter outfit, very blue to compliment Kenny's orange outfit.
Btw a lot of the descriptions are pretty ambiguous just to avoid clunky (h/c) preferences y'know. Also cause people have their own preference and it's just simpler to make things more open. Anyways hope the story isn't too cringe. Please enjoy.

She was sitting alone in her room again, on the window seat, staring out into the night sky. It was dark but her hair and eyes shone in light of the moon and stars streaming through her window. You'd think she was sad or depressed, but she was actually the complete opposite. She was ecstatic. Imagining about the new chapter of her life starting the next day. Tomorrow morning she'd be moving to a tiny, small, isolated town in Colorado.

All her life she's been stuck in her and her dad's mansion apartment. She's only been let out on the rarest of occasions. The thing is every one of those occasions ended in disaster. Homeschooling, books and tv are all she's known for the last 16 years. She so desperately wanted to move out of this boring grey city that held her captor. Well it really wasn't the cities fault it was her dad's. Although she couldn't really blame him either. It's not his fault either.

See her dad is this billionaire genius inventor. Not a lot of people like change. A lot of bad people want him dead and by relation, her. People all over try to kidnap or hold her hostage to get to her dad and force him to create things for them. It almost did happen once. After that she was also taught self defence and various martial arts by a personal trainer, to help keep her safe. Thats why she's been kept hidden, like Rapunzel if you will. It was their only option. Until now.

Her dad, as you know, is genius. He's also quite slim and tall with (h/c) and (s/t). He's quite a kind man and doesn't mean harm to anyone. He just wants to keep people safe, especially his family. Which is why he has to do this.

After the last incident they decided they needed to change something. She needed to leave. They decided on a quiet redneck mountain town called South Park. Somewhere no one would look for a the daughter of a genius billionaire, who in fact is a genius herself. She would be sent there without her father unfortunately, but she would be accompanied by her nanny slash tutor, Theodora (aka Dora). She will also start her 12th year (senior year) at the local high school.

Theodora was a kind woman but quite reserved, young but not as loose as people her own age. She was tall with short dark golden straight hair, with light hazel eyes. She usually adorned formal wear, or simple sweaters and pants sometimes but nothing more casual than that.

South Park is located in the mountains of Colorado and snows almost every month of the year. The girl has never actually touched or felt snow, only seen it through her window. It only has a population of about 800. It had just two schools, elementary and high school. A couple grocery stores. Not much. She'd also heard there was a group of heros there, that would be exciting to see, maybe she'd meet them or even try to join them. She does have a talent of kicking butt. But she was sure she would love it.

She couldn't wait to start her life down in South Park. She'd never had real friends before or gone to a real school. She's be able to go out, or stay late after school, join a club (a school club), get a coffee or tea or whatever. She'd be free to experience things she's never had the luxury of experiencing before. She'd finally have freedom. Maybe even date eventually... And although she knew the town would probably be problematic in some aspects, she was none the less excited to go.

She's been sitting by that window for hours imagining what it'll be like living there. What kind of people would live there, what she'd do. It'll only be a day until she finds out. For security reasons they'll be driving a uhaul truck instead on taking their usual private jet. They will be accompanied by undercover cars though. The trip would take two days. 18 hours of total driving from Atherton, California, to South Park, Colorado. They will take out majority of the trip on the first day in 12 hours. Leaving home at 08:00 and driving until 20:00 and staying the night in Sulphurdale, Utah, near Fishlake National Forest.

The only downside she thought of was not being able to see her dad for the majority of the year. Her dad would be able to come over for Christmas and maybe for another holiday but he would probably  mostly just call her. She didn't want to leave him behind but, as long as they are both safe.

She glanced at the clock in her bedroom. It read 1:46 am. She decided she should probably try to actually to sleep, even though insomnia often haunted her.

Just a few hours, she thought. Then I'll be free. Finally.

That night she had dreams of her new life.
