(Y/N) finally got out of her last period of the day. She weaved through the swarms of people rushing to get the fuck outta this place. Exiting through the front entrance and turning left towards the bike racks.

Hey eyes fixated on the bike racks where Karen was cowering before two boys. The same boys Kenny had told her about. Just then Billy, the tall blonde one, snatched her backpack off of her and started dumping the contents on the floor.

Oh hELL NO.

"Hey pick on someone your own size!" (Y/N) stepped between the boys and Karen, then shoved the Billy into the ground.

"Who the fuck do you think you are slut," Josh, the shorter brunette boy, yelled.

"A good person," she smiled sinisterly before punching him in the nose. And terrible crack sounded as (Y/N) realised she just broke the guy's nose. He immediately bursted into tears.

She turned around quickly to Karen, "are you alright?"

She nodded shyly.

Billy got up and prepared to punch her before someone else stepped gracefully in front of her.

It was Kenny.

"I don't think so buddy," he said as he caught the punch and twisted the other boy's wrist. Billy yelled out in pain and fell on his butt.

Kenny turned swiftly around, "let's go."

They quickly collected up Karens things. Kenny grabbed each girl's hand they all and hurried away.

They stopped when they reached Tweak's Coffee.

"Y'know I could have handled that blonde assho—jerk—myself," (Y/N) panted as they entered inside and sat down at a booth.

"I know you could have," he said with a knowing note in his voice. (Y/N) frowned at him. Kenny noticed his slight slip up. "But she is my little sister."

"Alright fair," (Y/N) said in truce. "But if I recall correctly you owe me a drink."

"Did I say that," he said pretending to think about it. He glanced at Karen and her dry tears, "well now I owe you even more."

"A drink will do," (Y/N) said understanding his implications.

Right on time a waiter came over, "good afternoon, what can I get you today?"

"Black coffee for me," Kenny said then leaned towards his sister. "Do you want orange juice?"

"Yes please."

"Orange juice for the little lady, and," he trailed off looking at (Y/N).

"Oh—uh—just (F/D), please," she smiled politely.

"Alrighty then, I'll be back in a minute," the waiter retreated into the back room.

Then (Y/N) felt a small tug on her sleeve, it was Karen.

"I never said thank you," she said.

"Oh well that's okay," (Y/N) smiled kindly at her.
