•You and Levi are pretty close, you're a captain as well and work with him often, aside from paperwork of course. Your team members are basically your children. You would do anything for them and hated having to let them leave for missions without you, which only happened if you were so badly injured you were stuck in the infirmary, and even then you struggled.
You talked to them about your problems and thoughts quite a lot, but they still don't know about your biggest secret.
That you like Levi. Levi Ackerman.
Only Erwin knew of this, since he was basically your big brother, or even father. You two are best friends, inseperable. You and him share everything with each other, and always supported one another.
You knew Levi was probably as straight as an uncooked noodle but you were still hopeful. Recently, you had seen Levi and Petra growing closer. You had always disliked Petra for some reason, maybe because of her overly sweet personality or her high-pitched, squeaky voice and the fact she never gave anybody personal space, or knew what no means, or-
Okay, maybe dislike is an understatement. But anyways..You were walking toward Erwin's office with an armful of paperwork you have finished, grunting as you had to make sure the papers weren't going anywhere while also watching your step. Suddenly, one of your squad members came around the corner. Hiroto, he has black hair with a greyish sheen and deep green eyes with a glint of mischief in them.
"Oh, squad leader! Let me help you!" He exclaimed quickly, carefully taking half of the papers. "Thank you Hiroto" You thanked with a small smile, Hiroto returning it happily. You both walked toward Erwin's office when a sharp jab in your throat made you pause with a gag. "Squad leader? Are you okay?"
You tried to clear your throat and a silky feeling drifted up your throat to your tongue, tickling your mouth. You moved the object between your back teeth so Hiroto wouldn't see it and assured him you were fine and continued walking. When you finally reached Erwin's office you knocked a heard a faint, 'name and business?', from the room.
"(L/n), I have papers for you, sir." You stated and heard him tell you to come in. You signalled Hiroto to follow you, which he did, and carefully opened the door, walking to the desk and setting down the papers with Hiroto.
"Thank you Hiroto, you can go now." You smiled down at him to which he nodded and smiled back before leaving. You sighed and turned to Erwin. "I'll go get ready to train the cadets, tell me if there's anything else you need." You smiled and walked toward the door, leaving the room quietly.
You stopped outside the door and pulled the silky, paper thin object from your mouth. "What the hell..?" It seemed like a rose petal. You didn't know why there was a petal in your throat to begin with, but you decided to ignore it and just get ready for your training session with the cadets.

You sighed, using your sleeve to wipe the sweat from your brow as a familiar raven stepped onto the emptying training field with his usual scowl. "Your filthy" he hissed from behind you. You chuckled and turned to him. "Really? I hadn't noticed." You had dirt and sweat smeared over your (light, dark, pale, etc.) skin, especially your hands, and your hair was tangled and coated in a thin layer of dirt as well.
As your eyes met his, you felt the same stabbing pain in your throat, like a prick from a needle. You gagged at the feeling and covered your mouth as the taste of iron spread over your tongue in the form of warm liquid. Levi's eyes narrowed with slight concern as you hunched over gagging in pain.
