Y/n absentmindedly checked the time on his phone.

'1:32 AM'

He sighed deeply. "What the hell are you doing Eren..?" Eren, Y/n's boyfriend of a year and a half, had been staying out a lot later lately and had been growing distant and unaffectionate lately.

He stood from the couch and quietly walked upstairs to his and Eren's shared bedroom, his light footfalls almost silent against the dark wood flooring.

When Y/n reached their room he swung open the door then closed it behind him, almost locking it but then deciding against it. He headed to the closet and changed into a huge, thin grey button up and some black boxers.

He walked to the bed and slipped under the soft covers, shuffling to the far side of it, against the wall. He grabbed his spare pillow and clutched it to his chest, burying his face into the soft fabric, the fan in the corner of the room whirring distantly as he urged himself to sleep.

Y/n woke up to a presence behind him in the bed. He turned carefully and slowly to see a familiar head of messy brown hair. 'Eren' he thought to himself as he carefully slipped out from under the covers and shimmeyed his way to the end of the bed, glancing back to see Eren's calm sleeping face.

He sighed and stood up with a yawn and a stretch before walking to the bedroom door slipping out into the hall. He walked down the stairs slowly, still half asleep. Something caught his eye from the coffee table in the living room.

Discarded onto the small table was Eren's phone. He bit his lip hesitantly before deciding to pick it up and look at his messages. "Just for reassu....rance...." He had unlocked the phone and opened his lover's messages and immediately saw a contact above his, reading 'Baby❤'.

His aforementioned contact was simply, 'Y/n'. He gritted his teeth and lowered his head. He felt like he should cry, but be couldn't. The urge and pressure of oncoming tears was there, but wouldn't release. He had expected this. He set the phone back on the table with a scoff.

Y/n stalked to the kitchen, making himself a glass of water and staring out the kitchen window.

He heard footsteps and stared down at the counter he was leaning on, hearing Eren yawn as he got closer. "Morni-" "How long.." Eren stared at M/n with a confused expression, but you could tell he was slightly nervous. "What do you mean?" "How long have you been cheating on me, Eren?" Y/n turned around with a blank look, but pain and anger were evident in his eyes.

Silence.

"I SAID HOW LONG!" Y/n snapped.

"8 months..."

Y/n stared at Eren in disbelief before lowering his head and setting the half-empty glass of water down on the countertop. He stormed past Eren and up the stairs while hissing out curses under his breath. Eren followed quickly, spitting out useless excuses.

"8 fucking months Eren! If you were just going to cheat on me then why didn't you break up with me?!" Y/n yelled at him as he began to pack his stuff into two suitcases and a fairly large bag. "I-.. I'm sorry ok! Give me another chance please!" Eren begged, yet he kept his distance.
