While placing the teapot and cups on the table, fully preparing the dinner she and Sousuke were about to eat. Murasaki can hear the heavy rainfall pouring down really hard, and this makes her very concerned for her son as he was out there alone. She turns to look at the view and watched the rain, waiting for him to come home out of harm's way.

"Goodness, the rain seems to be pouring down really hard. I hope Sousuke comes home really soon." She whispered in a worried tone.

Murasaki continues to stare at the rainy scenery, sitting on her legs as she holds her cup of hot tea that was placed on her lap. The distress of a mother is still there in her, but she holds onto hope that her son will come home safely even in this unpleasant weather.

Until she saw him from the distance... being arm carried by a girl she had never seen before.

Her eyes widened in horror when she got a glimpse of her son looking very sickly and weak. With no hesitation, she got up and quickly ran towards the pair to help him get inside their home.

"Sousuke, my son! What happened to you?" Murasaki frantically touched his cheeks with her hands looking completely concerned. She places his tired arm around her shoulder and hers on his waist to support him, making their way towards the opened shoji doors. Once they arrived at his room, both are completely wet from the rain. She instructs the young woman to put her son on the bed, not caring if she is just a stranger to her.

"Place him there on the futon. And remove his kimono before covering him."

Both gently lay Sousuke down as his mother quickly stood up to get something that will relieve him while the girl sits on the side of his bed, looking after him. She didn't get a chance to talk at the girl her son's with, for her only priority was his health condition.

It only took a few more minutes of preparing when Murasaki walked into his room with a tray of cup water and wakame seaweed soup. And there she sees her son sitting up on the futon, worn in his new cleaned kimono. Pleased that he is still alright, she made her way towards him and placed the tray on the bedside then sat down beside him.

"Sousuke, thank the gods. I'm relieved that you are awake." She said while stroking her son's head lovingly. "How are you feeling?"

He made a deep sigh before replying in a weary tone. "I'm a little tired, but fine. I just had a long walk, that's all."

"Here, drink some water." Murasaki gives him the cup of water as she watches him gulp slowly before turning to look at the girl beside him. She didn't get a chance to ask who she is, for she is more concerned with the health situation of her son. From her appearance, she's obviously a foreign woman and must be from Dejima.'She must be the girl my son wrote about in his poem... The Flower Angel.'

She had found about it while cleaning his room, and there on the table was the handwritten poem her son wrote. Murasaki can clearly tell from the girl's appearance, the lovely lavender eyes... the rosy pink hair... her kind and gentle nature... Her son's flower angel.

Suddenly the girl begins to face her with a saddened expression on her face, speaking in Japanese. This surprised the mother mildly. "Please forgive me... it's my fault that I made him this way. I insist Sousuke-san to chase after me for fun. I really didn't mean to." She bowed her head deeply, feeling guilty.

Hearing this, Sousuke made a deep sigh and protested. "Mother, don't listen to her. I was the one who is at fault here. She didn't know of my sickness, and I didn't tell her about it. I should have told her before all of this happened, so please don't blame her." He lowered his head after he explained.
