JADE.
She took a deep breath, before looking around the lot by the old mill. A dozen of motorbikes were parked in line beside the entrance. The band inside was already playing. A group of visibly drunk girls passed by, tripping and laughing. The bouncer just gave them a small smirk, before turning his back to the door. Jade had no idea why someone would hire a bouncer in a such shitty place. Most of the guys looked like criminals, besides some people from her class at Blackwell. She had to smile. Her parents were away at a business trip, and she red about the concert on f-book. "This will be a fun night" she told herself. She was 17 so passing the bouncer wasn't a big deal. "Have fun" he mumbled, and Jade smiled. The first thing she noticed was a deer head with LED-light eyes. Creepy decor. Noticing a bucket with beer bottles, and taking one hoping it's free, Jade elbowed her way through the dancing crowd. If only her parents knew where she was and what she was doing, they would probably... don't do a single shit. They cared more about cash and their company of lawyers than her. But to hell with them now! She was supposed to have fun. Dancing to the music and Enjoying life. Maybe even get wasted. But it didn't take long before someone interrupted her. Three men approached her. "Hey there, sweetheart, wanna dance?" One of them asked, standing really close to her. "Let's go somewhere nice, baby!" Another man stood behind her . Jade started to panic. "I'm not for sale, dirtbags!" She responded, trying to push through. "Easy there, lady. We're not done yet." Jade felt a hand on her butt, and another one on her torso. "What... get your hands of me!" Collecting all her strength, she kicked one of the dudes as hard as she could in the crotch. He swore and bend in pain. At first she thought they would give up. She couldn't be more wrong. The Bald, bearded man behind her pulled a knife from his pocket. " You don't fuck with us like that. Do you know who we are?" Before even thinking, she responded. "A bunch of wasted dirtbags who think they own this place?" The bald one pointed his knife in my direction. "Yeah, we own this place, and we decide what we want to do" he added. She felt the wall behind her back, and regretted her decision to come to this place. Jade could scream, but who would hear her, the music was too loud. Suddenly, she heard a rough voice coming from behind the assholes. "Hey, assholes! Which one of you said you own this place?" The other guys started to talk at the same time . "I'm-I'm sorry Damon! We j-just wanted to give this bitch a lesson." The guy they called Damon came closer towards the one talking. "I should be the one giving you a lesson, Kane. You still over me two grand for the drugs you took THREE MONTHS AGO! Now, get the hell out of here!" This was the first time she saw him. Damon Merrick, who probably saved her life. " Thanks." She said, nearly whispered, but he heard her, despite the music. Their eyes met, and Jade smiled. She could swear he smiled too, for a while, before suddenly turning around. "You're welcome." He mumbled, before walking away, leaving her alone in the corner. She watched as he took a beer bottle and said something to a blond, bearded man, who nodded and turned away. Jade closed her eyes, leaning towards the wall. She wasn't in a party mood anymore, and headed home.DAMON
Damon never really cared about other people. And nobody cared about him, what was fine. He was supposed to be the bad guy, who took what was his and showed who was the boss if someone effed with him. But when he saw that girl, something broke inside him. Like an invisible wall of glass that shattered into pieces as he approached those idiots. They knew who he was, but it seemed like she didn't. And her eyes, these brown eyes which were staring at him with... empathy? And her smile. Nobody smiled at him the way she did this night. He looked around his bedroom. Was he going crazy? It felt like he was floating around, a feeling no drugs were able to give, he was sure about that. And then he knew. She was the drug. Damon forgot about the concert and the rest of the guys who owed him money. He found Frank Bowers, his best friend and said "You saw what happened. Keep an eye on her". His friend nodded, and Damon felt way better. Frank was a guy he could trust, he saw this many times before. Damon looked in the girl's direction. The way she leaned back to the wall made her even more beautiful. He shook his head. I need to get out of this place, he thought, heading out. A quick nod from the bouncer standing in the doorway in case the cops showed up, and he started his motorcycle. It was time to go home.Ok, guys this is my first fanfic, first chapter.
