Jade
Fire takes a lot from us. Our homes, our loved ones. The fire in Arcadia Bay spread faster than anyone thought. Many firefighters lost their lives. The first two days during the fire, Jade couldn't sleep or eat. Her parents thought she cared too much about the people who died, and couldn't stop themselves from suggesting who their daughter should be in the future. How shocked would they be if they krew the real reason! That she cared for a man she newly met, but felt like she knew him for months. Life had to go on, though, and before even knowing it knew it, Thursday struck her once again and Blackwell was waiting. The academy was under control of principal Wells. Multiple rumours went around that he was a really close friend with the Prescott family. Someone said they have a bunker filled with gold, but Jade highly doubted that. As the girl got out of her dad's car she nearly collided with Nathan Prescott. "Watch it, bitch!" He yelled, stumbling across a rock. Jade shook her head. "Nice to see you too". She yelled back, but he was already gone. Nathan was actually really nice, but sometimes he could get on her nerves. Before walking inside the school, she noticed a piece of paper laying on the ground. Curiosity won and she picked it up, realising it is a drawing from Nathan's sketchbook. A smile appeared on her face when she saw it was Rachel, looking from the paper with almost curious eyes. I have to give it back to him, maybe after class, she thought and put the artwork in her bag. She could slip it under his door to his dorm. The rest of the day went slowly, as Jade floated through the geography class, Mathematics, English and Biology. As the bell rang, signalising the end of the class, she was the first to get out of it, and immediately headed towards the boy's dorm. "You know damn good that you owe me that money, North." A familiar voice met her as she closed the door behind her. She felt butterflies in her stomach. Damon. "You will get the money. Just give me a couple of weeks and you will get all of it." She recognised the shaky voice that replied. Drew North. At first she had no idea what to do. Her heart started to beat faster. "You better" Damon hissed, and Jade heard a door closing. "Fucking kid" the man sighed. Jade took a few steps so that she could see him. He was a lot more hotter than the last time she saw him. Not knowing what to do, she spoke. "Hey." He stopped and turned around with a surprised expression. "What are you doing here?" His sharp words felt like a cold blade against her skin. "I- I wanted to give a lost sketch to a friend of mine. What are you doing here?" She tried to stay calm. Breathe. Damon looked behind him at the closed door. "Just trying to get something mine" Jade knew better than asking for details. She admired the man in front of her for a minute. Damon brushed his fingers through his hair. "Wanna go for a ride? I have my motorcycle parked outside." The girl looked surprised and felt her chest tighten.
Damon
He couldn't believe his eyes as he nearly bumped into the girl from the old mill. What surprised him more was that he actually remembered her name. Jade. When she asked him what he was doing in the boys's dorm, he didn't quite lie, but he couldn't tell her the reason behind his visit. The last thing he wanted was to scare her away. His request for a ride came spontaneously, and Damon had to control himself not to jump and scream like a little girl while waiting for her answer. What was she doing with him? His eyes quickly scanned her body. He wondered how it would feel like to hold around her. " Are you ok? I said yeah." Jade asked a little concerned. Nobody asked how he felt. He smiled at her. "Yeah. Just thinkin'. Let's ride then." They both had to control themselves not to sprint to the parking lot. The girl admired his bike, letting her hand rest on the painted on skull. An idea floated through Damon's mind, "Hey, stay still." He ordered and took out his phone. Jade smiled and posed with the motorcycle. He pretended to take more pictures, but in reality he just admired her. " So, who is driving?" Jade teased him. Damon huffed and risked his eyes. "Not a chance, darling. " He started the engine. Jade stood there for a moment., shocked. The man understood what he had just said. "Are you coming or what, you don't trust me?" He was prepared for her to change her mind. No girl would ride with him. Jade turned around to face him, and looked him in the eyes with something new. " I trust you.".
They drove way over the speed limit, but neither of them actually cared. Damon felt her hand on his shoulder and waist, followed by a strange heat up in his throat. They passed the school, Two Whales diner and the park. Without thinking about it, Damon found himself outside his house. He drove there automatically, and now the big, bad wolf started to panic. What is she thinking of him? After a while he dared to look at Jade, and survived a near-death experience when he realised she stared back. What surprised him even more was the smile on her face. "If you are smart, you should fucking leave, girl." He whispered. The girl he fell for suddenly came closer. And closer. He acted spontaneously as he pulled her into a long and passionate kiss. She didn't pull away. She didn't protest. They just stood there, kissing. " Do you really want me to go, bad boy?" She teased him. Damon forced himself to think clear. "You have parents, right?" He was about to pull away, but that damn girl wouldn't let him, she let her hang through his hair. " I can always make a friend cover for me," Jade made an innocent face, what made Damon chuckle under his breath. " I think I have a bad influence on you". Without a word, he lifted her up, bridal style, and marched towards his house. It was the best day in his life, for sure.
1085 words. Not bad. Ok. In this chapter something happened. MAYBE I will add a little kissing and so on. Be patient. More coming soon.
