Jade
As soon as she walked in the front door, her father stood up from his chair. "Thank God. Grace! She's back!" He said loudly. Her mother nearly ran down the stairs, forcing her into a hug, checking her temperature and kissing her forehead. "Thank god you are safe. I called Rachel's parents but they said you left half an hour ago. Where were you?!" Her mother looked like she was about to shake her like a milkshake. "I was in the park feeding ducks and... meditating." Jade and Rachel once played an acting game, so she remembered to keep a pokerface. "Didn't you see the fire?" Grace was shocked. "The park, just like the east side of Arcadia Bay is on fire!" Jade widened her eyes. She and Damon left just in time. Her phone vibrated. It was a text message from Principal Wells, at Blackwell academy. He warned about the forest fire, and hoped that the students were safe. Jade walked over to the Tv and found the local news channel. The live footages came from a helicopter that flew over the burning forest.  "..and as you see, ladies and gentlemen, the fire is spreading rapidly. The firefighters are trying their best to stop it." I hope he is safe! Jade thought about Damon. Did he make it home? With unpleasant thoughts inside her head, she went upstairs and laid on her bed. Jade wouldn't sleep tonight.

Damon
"Move it!" Damon yelled from the passenger seat at a slow driver in front of Frank's RV. Was it so fucking hard to speed up a little? He showed the cow of a driver the middle finger as Frank passed the driver. "Calm down. What are you going to do when we get there, huh? Put out the fire?" Frank asked sarcastically, driving over the speed limi. "Concentrate on the road! You know how much cash I put in this place!" Damon yelled, trying to hold the balance as Frank took a left turn. There was no point in arguing with Damon, and Frank was hundred percent aware of that. As they finally arrived at the Old Mill, the two men gasped in shock. The mill was burning. Frank pushed the brakes, and Damon nearly flew forwards, opened the RV-door and without even thinking rushed to the old mill. "Damon, goddamnit!  He is insane!" Frank honked at his friend, who furiously walked in circles, desperately trying to do something. But they both knew there was nothing more to do than watch as the flames consumed what took a whole year to renovate. And don't think there was any insurance for that place. As Damon finally stopped cursing, he got back in the RV, and they drove away. Suddenly, Damon started to hit the dashboard. "FUCK! FUCK! FUCK!" Of all the things that could possibly go wrong, from one day to another, he lost nearly ten grand! "Damon! Calm the fuck down!" Frank watched in disbelief as his friend lived up to his name. He became a Demon. But the furious man ignored him. "Where's the weed, Frank? I need to...relax." He said, getting up again. Bowers didn't want any more damages caused by Damon, so he told the location of the weed. "Wait till we're back, take that shit home." Frank ordered, and Damon jokingly took his hands up. "What, you don't want that chick of yours to sniff it? You've really into her, aren't you?" Merrick knew he was bending Franks patience. That girl was his soft spot. Just like Jade was his. He remembered her eyes. Her voice. Her smile. The moment when she said she trusted him. Nobody have ever trusted him. Not even Frank. Maybe Jade was the one and only. Damn, he hoped she was all right.
