JADE
Rachel Amber was one of the few friends she had. They knew each other for years, and their parents were good friends. So when Rachel asked Jade to hangout, she Immediately said yes. She had to tell someone about the man she met, and that he occurred in every dream she had. They agreed to meet at Rachel's house. Her dad, the famous DA, detective Amber greeted her from his favourite chair. "Hello, Jade. How is your father doing? I haven't heard from him in a while." Surprised by the sudden attention he gave her, she smiled. "He has been really busy with something lately. You know, lawyer stuff. But I'm sure he would appreciate it if you would give him a call." James Amber nodded, and focused again at the papers he was holding. "So, I saw you at the old mill". Rachel said, after closing the door to her room. "I was with Chloe. She saved me that night from two guys, And that man also did". Rachel sighed, jumping on her bed. "Well, I also met someone who saved my ass. Jeez, why is it always us women who need a saviour." Jade said, rolling her eyes. Rachel shrugged. "Well, I guess that's just how it is. Do you know his name?" She dug deeper in this topic. " I heard those d-heads were calling him Damon. They were shitting their pants as he approached them, talking about how much they owed him. I didn't hear everything because of the music." She laughed. But Rachel suddenly got very quiet. "... Rachel? What's bothering you?" She had to repeat her question. "Nothing, but I think you should leave." Her fierce tone made her jump, "All right, I'm sorry if I said something wrong". Jade said, leaving the room. She said goodbye to The Ambers and walked out of the mansion. Maybe I should stop by the park, she thought. Jade had a few hours before she absolutely had to be home, and wasn't in the mood for early homecoming. The park itself was near the forest, and was huge. A squirrel hurried through the path as she walked in. The weather was really good, but her head was trying to figure out what got Rachel so angry. She was acting weird lately. Jade walked over to a bench with the sunset in her back. A sudden voice got the hair on her neck to rise. "Hey, you are the girl from the mil, right?" Damon said, waving goodbye to his friend, Frank. "Yeah, and you must be Damon." Looking another way, she heard him sit down at the bench. Weird, but sitting beside him made her feel relaxed. Jade looked at the man, who stared back. She could drown in those eyes.
DAMON
The way she said his name, made him feel warm inside. "By the way, I'm Jade." She added, looking at the sunset. This girl was not like the others he ever met. Empty inside with emotionless eyes. But... Jade had something inside her that pulled him towards her like a magnet. "So, what is a girl like you doing in this hole of a town?" He asked, now facing her again. "You mean, what do a daughter of two shitty lawyers do in a town like this and not in the big city? Well, I was born here. That's the only explanation." She crossed her legs. "If I had a chance to escape Arcadia Bay, I would. But my parents would find me anywhere." Damon also looked at the sunset. A daughter of rich-assed lawyers, who wanted to leave a life many would kill to have. He liked her. "Hey, thanks for saving my ass that night". Jade said. Damon smiled. After a while of awkward silence, she suddenly stood up. "Well, it's getting late, so I should probably head home." She added. Normally, Damon wouldn't care, but that wasn't a normal situation. " I don't want you to get into any more trouble, mind if I follow you home?" He suggested, preparing for a firm no, or being laughed out. "Thank you. I've heard about lots of sudden disappearances lately." She said, visibly relieved. Damon chuckled. "You saw me twice in your life and you already trust me?" The girl shrugged. "You could let me be beaten up, or whatever these guys wanted from me, and if you were one of them, you would have done something to me, but you didn't." Fair point. They talked all the way up to a tree beside her house. Damon leaned on it, looking in her eyes, for a millionth of time. "Will we meet again?" He asked. Her smile said it all. After a last goodbye, and watching her enter the house, he turned around, and walked the long way back to his house, whistling. "I see you were busy. It's been a long time since you were so happy." Frank teased him, poking his arm. "Shut up, and get us some booze. We have shit to celebrate." Frank snorted. "I'm not your mother, man. You have legs. And you're younger." It was Damon's time to snort. "Yeah, but you're still after chick that could be your daughter." Frank stood up, pointing at him, furiously. "Stay out of this. It's none of your business." Damon raised his hands up. "All right I'm sorry. I'll get the beer". He was halfway to the fridge, when he heard Frank's voice. "Holy crap. Damon! You should see this!" With a sense of a catastrophe was about to happen, Damon rushed outside, and froze. Fire. The forest was on fire.Sorry if I messed up the timeline. I had to fit in Jade somewhere. Requests?
