Natsumi felt her head hit the wall, she was exhausted. It had been 2 years now after she left her previous home, so many nightmares that still continue to haunt her that she wouldn't even notice that tears would drop down to her cheeks from her eyes. Although her past was anything but bright, this didn't stop her from continuing to live. Just about 2 years ago she was in a abusive and toxic household that seemed to hold her down but also just some time ago she escaped its wretched grasp.

She didn't know how she got into the position of fighting a skeleton who was being controlled by a god but this didn't bother her.  As long as she was getting stronger then she would fight every skeleton out there. She snorted at her thought before waving a time out sign at her opponent who was ready to attack once again. She had been training for at least 3 hours now, no signs of stopping until now. Her breaths were deep as she controlled its flow, the wind seeming to lend her some help by making the current stronger at her direction.

Standing up she whistled to call onto someone, who was this? Well it was Nhala who she called through a whistle. Nhala was a tiger who had the color of snow. The little feline was just a cub but was full of joy, her energy matching its summoner.

She watched the direction of where Nhala was supposed to enter and smiled brighly when the little white fluff ball came in running. She tripped on her way to Natsumi that made the girl giggle at its clumsiness. Once the cub grew closer to where the girl was, she took a leap and landed on the girl's clutches. A few minutes passed and Natsumi felt a wave of sleepiness hit her that made her yawn, she slid down the wall to the ground and laid there. She was the big spoon as Nhala was the little one, with her eyes beginning to close she didn't seem to hear the soft chuckle of someone.

A few hours passed and the energy that Natsumi had wasted through training, replenished. The redhead can be seen meditating while the cub on her side was still sleeping. Unbeknowst to Natsumi some people from a village not so familiar to her, were poofing out of existence.

— Natsumi's POV —

Taking deep breaths, I couldn't but help to notice the overwhelming presence of someone familiar to me. With a grin becoming present on my face and my eyes wide open with a glimmer of happiness, I watched where the entrance to the room I was in with an excited expression. The sparkle of happiness didn't falter on my eyes when I saw a familiar brown haired girl come inside. " Ichika! " i squealed in delight. Ichika's face showed through the door when she whipped her head to look at me in the room I was in. Ichika is a woman whose job is to be the right hand woman or secretary to the gods. She sometimes will personally come over like for now, to train me although I'm getting the feeling she isn't here for that.

" Sumi-chan! " she exclaimed, with me standing in the middle of the room I could glance at Nhala from the corner of my eyes to see her moving a bit, she probably heard both of our exclaims to which I sweatdrop. Getting a bit distracted with the white fluff ball on the ground, I couldn't see the way how Ichika leaped in the air to land on me. With how high she jumped and our weights together, dust and grime covered the area. I groaned while Ichika looked at me with a sheepish smile. " Sorry 'bout that. " she muttered her actions not showing any signs of sincerity that made me facepalm.

" What are you even doing here? " I asked her, the whole thing in the room now back to normal, dust and grime no more. This was one of the advantages of being friends with her, she could turn anything back to normal. Although I only know some of her abilities, it still manages to surprise me every time she performs them. " Aren't you a bit happy to see me? Your friend visits you and you say that to them? How rude, Natsumi! " I scruched my whole face when a pout graced her face, a worried look now present in my eyes. " What did you do? " I asked her. Sometimes, I hate myself cause of the way on how I know her too well. My suspicions began to vanish when I see the Cheshire grin that I know too well. " Oh dear... " I mumbled.
