Brooke's POV
"Where you off to" says a raspy voice
"Wouldn't you like to know" I say as I turn around
"Wouldn't of asked if I didn't want to know" says Happy as he finishes his cigarrette
"I'm going home" I say
"You just got here" he says
"And now i'm leaving, I shouldn't of came anyway" I say as I head towards my car
"Fuck him, lets go for ride somewhere" he says
"Alright, as long as there's food involved, I mean it Lowman, I'm hungry" I say as I follow him to his bike
*few hours later*
I had a really good time with Happy, it was just nice to hang out
with someone and if i'm honest I missed him, we used to be really close and hang out when he came down from Tacoma, then he became Nomad, so I barely saw him but now that he's patched in here, I'll see him more.
"You better tattoo me like you promised" I said as I get off his bike
"I will, don't worry" he says as he chuckles
"Where have you been" says Gemma as she walks towards us
"I went out with Hap for a bit" I say
"He's been looking for you" says Gemma
"Honestly couldn't give a shit, he had his chance to talk but he was occupied" I spit
"Just talk to him" she says
"No ok, i'm going home" I say as head towards my car
"Brooke wait" shouts a voice from across the lot
"What" I say as I stop
"Can we talk" asks Chibs
"I wanted to earlier but you were occupied, so what's the point" I say
"Well you disappeared for years and expect me to want to talk" he says
"And you hook up with her and expect me to want to talk" I say
"I just want to talk alright" he says
"Alright fine, we'll talk, lead the way" I say
He take my hand, leading me into the clubhouse and we head for his dorm. I take a seat on the bed, while he closes the door, making sure it's locked so no one can interrupt
"Look, I'm sorry for how I left things" I say
"And I'm sorry for being a dick" he says talking a seat at his desk
"I needed a change, that's why I left, I wouldn't have got far if I had of stayed in charming" I say
"Yeah, I understand but why come back after all these years" he says looking me
"My sister had her kid and mom wanted me back" I say
"She still a pain in the ass" he asks
"Of course she is, when is she not" I say as I laugh
And just like that, it was as if I never left
