Brooke's POV
"So what do you wanna talk about" I say as I grab a beer from the fridge
"I wanna talk about how much of dick I've been to you" says Chibs taking a seat on the back deck
"Why now? You've had weeks to apologise and your only coming to me now?" I ask offering him a beer
"You didn't want to talk to me and then Happy beat the shit outta me" he says
"You deserved that but he shouldn't have done it" I say taking a seat opposite him
"No he should have cause it made me realise that I've been treating you terribly and you don't deserve that" he says looking down at his beer
"You chose her Chibs, we made eye contact that night and I was really hoping to talk to you but then you walked off with her, completely ignoring the fact that I was even there" I say
"I know and all I can say is that I'm sorry for that. I didn't think you were coming back. Fuck, I didn't even think you'd have stayed long, I thought you were just passing by then you'd be back in Nevada again" he says taking a swig of his beer
"No this time I'm here to stay and I want things to go back to the way they were between us, but if your still gonna hang around and fuck Becca then don't bother" I say looking away
"I want nothing to do with her, I want to fix us and forget about her" he says leaning over and taking my hand
"Okay but that doesn't mean you're forgiven just yet" I say looking at him
"Oh I know" he says
*2 hours later*
Chibs ended up staying for dinner and by dinner I mean we ordered take out, nothing special. Anyway not long after he left, my sister Kat just happened to be pulling into the driveway the same time his motorcycle sped off down the street..
"Who was that" she asks as she gets out of her car
"No one you need to know about" I say inviting her inside
"Um of course I need to know, I seen the kut so who was it" she asks
"It was Chibs okay" I say heading into the kitchen
"Wait, you and him are speaking again" she asks excitedly
"Yeah he came over to talk and apologise" I say
"Oh please tell me more" she says taking a seat at the kitchen table
This just got a whole lot worse
