Buckys POV

I wake up in a unfamiliar place. It's cold...so cold. My body shakes as it's being pulled through the snow. I feel nothing on my left side and look to see a bloody stomp where my arm should be. The next time I open my eyes I'm in a hospital of some sort and I hear drills. Metal is grinding the bone and darkness succumbs me once again. I walk up and I find I have two arms again, but one catches the light above my head. It is a platinum silver and it is strong. Looking past my hands I recognize the Hydra scientists. THEY did this to me! I need to escape! I have to find Steve.

I'm awake but my body is not mine. It is a hunter. An Assassin. A...Soldier. The man hiding in the corner begs for his life and I aim my rifle and my mouth says the words I despise...

Hail Hydra....

BANG!

I'm not in Winter Soldier view anymore. I'm in my in between phase of dreaming. A place where I don't wake but not dreaming.
I feel warm hands caress my head. It keeps me in my sleep and I don't mind for a few more minutes before the next memory surfaces. I lean my head into the feeling and I have a moment where I can breathe again.

"Oh Bucky..."

I feel lips gently on my cheek then it is gone, and I can't let it leave. 'Stay' I beg to the angel and her small voice comforting me. "It will be okay, Bucky. I'm not going anywhere. I promise."

Y/N POV

I wake from my room and see that its two thirty in the morning. Humphrey is alert and jumps from the bed.
"What is it Humphrey?" I ask groggy with sleep still in my body.

He scratches my door to open it, and I grab a night robe from the edge of my bed.
Leaving my room, the dog rushed to the guest room that Bucky is sleeping in.

I open the door and find his face unsettled and sweat is collecting on the front of his forehead.

His voice sounds desperate, similar to the other night. "Please, Leave them alone. They deserve to live."
I try to wake him awake. His metal arm flinches and I freeze. I don't want to scare him and have him hurt me on accident. He settles for a moment and I can't help but to touch him.

I use my hand and swipe the sweat from his forehead  and there I see his cheeks are wet as well. Tears that fell from his closed eyes.

"Oh Bucky..."
He seems to have settled down and I can't help but to lean down and kiss the wet tears away.
His face leaned into my lips almost wanting me to stay where I was. But I can't. I need him to trust me or else he will go back to being isolated.

I move to get up from where I was sitting when cold steel gently grips my arm.

"Stay" Buckys voice pleads me from his lips. His eyes are still closed and I can't tell if he is so tired he's still sleeping or if he's awake just not opening his eyes.

"It will be okay, Bucky. I'm not going anywhere. I promise." I tell him.

His arm releases me and he doesn't move again. I get up and gently close the door behind me.

Going back to my room, Humphrey jumps on my bed and waits for me to lay down. Surprisingly I'm not tired anymore.

A few hours go by and in that time I do some dusting and cleaning in places Nanny can't get to. I'm standing on the counters to dust the top of the cabinets when I hear Nanny warn me that she's coming in.

I get the last of the dust bunnies off the top of the shelf and climb down.
"You didn't have to do that, hun."

I smirk and drop the swifter stick on the floor. " Well you're not getting up there and hurting yourself."
I picked up the duster and threw the cloth full of dust in the garbage.
