It's been on his mind.
Visiting the pack.
He wasn't sure how they would react to him. He wasn't sure how they would react to the news that he's a hybrid now. He would like to think it would go smoothly but that was ignoring the reality.
He was sitting on the roof of the Cullen's house, staring into the woods. Allison had went with Caius and Aro to go hunt, the guards probably went with them, the Denali coven went home and the Cullen family were preparing their leave from Forks.
"Seth." Seth looked down to see Marcus on the ground. Marcus jumped up, landing easily on the roof. "I thought you'd be hunting."
"I did earlier," he said.
Marcus gave a nod. "Well, since you and Allison are doing well for newborns, we're leaving to go back to Volterra tomorrow."
Seth blinked. They were leaving so soon? He figured they would be staying a bit longer. It looks like he was going to see his family and pack today.
"I need to make a visit," Seth told Marcus. He figured the ancient vampire would understand. He looked up at his brother-in-law...well, Marcus wasn't a brother-in-law yet but he basically is since he's Allison's mate.
Marcus raised an eyebrow at him. "To the pack?" Seth nodded. Marcus let out a sigh. "Do you think they would be accepting of you when they find out you're a hybrid?"
Seth shrugged. He wasn't sure but he was hopeful; just because he is a hybrid doesn't mean that his pack should be worried. Hell, he is the first hybrid ever and the Volturi didn't take any spite, they were curious. The only one who probably would have spite would be Caius, but he didn't receive any from the blonde king, so he assumed that Allison had a role in it.
"All I'm saying, is that you be careful if you do decide to see them," Marcus said. Seth nodded when Marcus cracked a smile. "If you want to go and you're unsure, talk to your sister about it before you do go."
Marcus was right about that. Allison would want to know what was going on inside his head, she always had a way to get him to talk. Felix, on the other hand, would try to stop him. Though, he was surprised that Marcus wasn't trying to stop him, he probably wanted to but he would if anything rises.
"Mmm..." was all he said as he got up to his feet. "I'll speak to her when she gets back. I'm going to town." Seth jumped down from the roof, landing perfectly on his feet. He could feel Marcus eyes on him as he slowly walked towards the woods; as much as he wanted to think things will be fine and dandy, he kept Marcus words playing in the background.
++++++++++++++++++++THE VISIT+++++++++++++++++++++++++
Seth didn't sparkle like the other vampires, Allison didn't sparkle either which was perfect to blind in. He walked through the streets of Forks, taking in his home one last time before packing up to head to Volterra tomorrow. He was only in Volterra for a little bit before getting kidnapped by the Romanians to not consider it as home.
He was minding his own business, walking down the side walk when he noticed Charlie Swan walking out of the bank, heading towards his police car. He studied the Swan man, it was easy to see how tired the older man was. He walked up to him, feeling like he should say a goodbye to Charlie.
"Hey, Charlie," Seth smiled at him.
The older man looked up at him. "Seth?"
"The one and only," he attempted to use humour.
Charlie blinked. "How are you?" Charlie gave him a smile. The way he reacted, no one from the pack told him that he had taken off.
"Been... busy," Seth lied. Been adjusting to my immortal life. "I was helping my uncle for a bit, I'm only home for a limited time before I head back."
"I haven't seen you in ages," Charlie said. "It feels like ages. Well, I finished my shift so come by for a late lunch at two."
"Can I bring Allison?"
"Sure," Charlie said. "I haven't seen her in ages too."
Seth nodded, giving him a smile. Charlie said he had to go but he will see him and Allison at two. Seth continued on his walk, he wondered if Bella made any contact with him. He felt bad for Charlie; his daughter was thrown into a world where humans either needs to be turned or die and she selfishly wanted to become an immortal creature to stay forever young and not die.
Immortality was one thing people would do anything for. In all honesty, Seth wasn't sure how he felt about being immortal. Sure shapeshifters age but they stop aging for a bit when their mate is brought into the world, and the shapeshifter doesn't start aging until their mate has reached the age where they stopped at. Mmm...that wasn't immortality though. More like... well, Seth wasn't sure to call that. He was going to outlive his family, the pack and watch their lines continue on as time flies by.
Did he really want to say goodbye to the pack? Did he want to go back to Volterra with his soul-siblings? Did he even get past the trauma that he and Allison experienced in the hands of the Romanians?
Did he want to be immortal?
Seth's head felt like it was going to explode with all his thoughts. He shook his head, trying to clear them away but it didn't work. He let out a frustrated sigh, turning on his heel to head back to the Cullen residence.
His sister better be back.
