--(Jeremy's POV)--
I was snuggled into the couch with Mike, when someone knocked on the door.
I groaned and went to get it, Mike laughing at me.
Yanking the door open, I saw Vincent, my building manger. My heart dropped.
"Hello, Jeremy." He said.
"H-hello, Vi-Vince.. H-how can I help you.?" I asked.
"I just came to remind you that you owe money. Jeremy, your better then this." He said, giving me a look of sympathy.
"Vince, I g-got a job, p-please, just let m-me get p-paid, and th-then I'll b-be able to pay y-you." I say. "I-I just n-need m-more time."
"Jeremy, you know I can't keep doing this, if I did, everyone would be living here for free." He sighed.
"But-"
"Jeremy, I'm sorry. You have one week to find somewhere else to live, and get packed." He said. "I'll... See you around, Jeremy." I closed the door and walked to the living room.
"Jeremy... Who was that?" Mike asked. Tears shone in my eyes as I broke down. I can't do anything right.
"M-my building m-manger..." I say through my tears. Mike reached over and wiped them away.
"What did he have to say?" He asked. I looked at him, and tried to pull myself together. Key word: TRIED
"H-he... Told me t-that I'm out o-of time...I n-need somewhere t-to live..." I took a deep breath, and said, "Mike, he kicked me out of the building for not having my rent."
Mike just looked at me. "What?!" He asked.
"I didn't have the money I owe him, so he kicked me out." I say. It broke my heart to hear those words from my mouth.
Mike looked at me, then he came over and gave me a hug, and whispered "it's okay Jere, we will find a solution. There always is one."
