--(Mikes POV)--
My breath caught in my throat as the words left to nurses mouth. There's no way Jeremy needs surgery...!
"E-excuse me..? I'm n-not s-sure I-I h-heard you c-correctly..." Jeremy stuttered. I knew he heard her, it was plainly obvious what she had said. I looked at the three faces in front of me.
Jeremy and Fritz had faces of fear, while the nurse had a face of sorrow.
"Jeremy, the only way for us to permanently repair the damage done to your arm, is surgery." The nurse said slowly.
"What would happen if he didn't get the surgery?" Fritz asked.
"Well, we could do our best to fix the arm. But it wouldn't have been done correctly, so his arm would work the way it's supposed to." She said. "Jeremy, it's your choice."
We all turned to Jeremy, who was very pale. He coughed, and looked down.
"Uhh... Well..." He started. He seemed to be having a difficult time deciding. I guess I would too...
"S-sure... Let's d-do the s-surgery..." He says.
"Okay, We can take you in about... Half an hour. I'll be sure to come and get you, as well as some doctors, when it's time for your surgery, Jeremy."
"T-thanks..." Jere says.
The nurse smiled, then left to go attend to her other patients. Then a thought came to mind.
"Jere, I just realized... If you don't get better by the end of the day, which you probably won't, I'll have to face those animatronics alone!"
His eyes widened, and he looked at me as if I'd lost my mind. "Wh-what?! Y-your still g-going?!"
I shrugged. "We have to make money somehow. Don't worry, I have your phone number. If something happens, I'll call you. Alright?"
"I-if I'm out o-of surgery, I'm glad to. I-I'll s-send you a t-text when I'm o-out."
Fritz smiled, and gave Jeremy a hug. "Jeremy, I haven't seen you in forever. I'm so glad you are okay. I know, I haven't been the best cousin, never talking to you or texting you after your mom left, but I've always been here. When I got the call you were in the hospital, I knew I had to come see you." He said, tears in his eyes.
Jeremy just smiled. He said nothing, but held out his good arm, and gave both of us a hug.
