The Eldest God

Chapter 4

-Thalia POV-

"LUKE, ANNABETH, AND GROVER RUN I'LL FIGHT THEM OFF."

I started to pray to my father, to save me from this fight.

A lightning bolt was ready to strike me, but then time started to feel thicker, and time started to slow down. 

A man with black hair, a skull jacket, and sunglasses came out of the shadows. "Who's there I'll kill you!" I said with a shaky voice, 

"Niece, don't you know, to treat your old man with respect?" 

My mouth gaped, and he laughed hysterically at my face.

"No, I'm not Hades, Poseidon, Demeter, Hera, or Hestia. I'm the eldest god, and your in my time stop, I've just saved you from being turned into a tree by your father. All will be explained in the future."

I nodded, at what he was telling me.

"But you cannot tell ANYONE, just say you fought them all off."

With that the man, snapped his fingers then all the monsters turned into dust, and reality started to resume. I was not hit by that lightning bolt and I was saved but before I can thank him he vanished into thin air. Then time resumed.

-Time Skip to 2005 Perseus POV-

I was walking through the forest, as my 12 year old boy form with my presumably twin brother Christian, there's been tensions for the lightning bolt. Zeus is blaming Poseidon and Hades for stealing his bolt, while Hades has his helm stolen. It's civil war, I'm in this country called America, I've moved through the west a couple of times. But, now I thinks it's time they have this Camp called Camp Half-Blood I'll pose as a demigod. A son of Poseidon, Poseidon thinks I'm one of his sons, but I actually just shapeshifted into a baby at the time of Chris' birth. I stumbled onto, Camp Half-Blood, Hades agreed to send a monster to chase me, so its not that suspicious that I just randomly stumbled onto Camp, I set it up the Minotaur was chasing me. I then ran and jumped onto its shoulders and sliced the horn off its head.

The Minotaur groaned in pain, but before it could dissolve into gold dust it shook me off its shoulders and I fell onto the ground unconscious.

The last thing I heard was "I DID IT I KILLED THE MINOTAUR!" I heard my brother scream.

-Dream-

"Brother you dare come back to Olympus!"

Zeus tossed a master bolt at me, it strikes my heart but I didn't die it hurt like Tartarus, "Perseus, for coming back I sentence you to Tartarus for ETERNITY!" He then tossed the master bolt again at me and I fell straight through the throne room, landing in Tartarus.

-Dream Ended-

I woke up to a loud thump, I hit my head on the bed above me. 

"Finally woke up." I looked over to my right, a blonde haired, with slightly blue eyes, a child of Apollo I guessed.

So, basically Chiron explained the Greek gods to me leaving me out, can't say I'm surprised I am forgotten except for a handful of people. Zeus forced all the minor gods swear on the River Of Styx not to tell anyone about me.

"Child, your staying at the Hermes cabin until your godly parent claims you."

I just nodded, and went into the Hermes cabin, sadly these people are my great nephews and nieces but they don't even know about me. 

"Hey, your the new kid right?"

The man talking to me had blue eyes, blond hair, and a scar right up his eye.

"Yup, anything we're supposed to do?"

LINE BREAK

Luke slashed at me, but I blocked, he tried to disarm me using a sword technique I recognized, because I made it. 

"Wow, your good for a new guy!" 

I then disarmed him, with my sword technique making his sword go flying. "Yield?"

"Yeah."

The other demigods were in shock I guess this Luke guy is important.

Suddenly, an old lady with wraps started to crawl into the sword fight, and spoke a prophecy.

"Four shall go west, and face the god who has turned, 

you shall find what was stolen, and see it safely returned,

       You shall be betrayed by the one who calls you a friend,

And you shall fail to save what matters most, in the end."

The soulless Oracle then dropped to the floor, in its normal form again.

My idiot of a brother said 

"Is that what always happens here?" Pointing towards his head, a trident appeared. 

A trident appeared upon my head too.

"Hail, Percy Jackson, and Christian Jackson. Son of Poseidon, lord of horses, gods of seas, and the earth shaker." All the campers bowed down, and Christian raised his hands up in the air, like he just won an Oscar. "Please I don't like formalities." Chiron was confused at this a 12 year old boy, not seeking attention?

"There is a quest that is going to happen, most of you know about the tensions between Zeus and Poseidon. Zeus blames Poseidon for his master bolt being lost, and civil war might happen if we don't get the master bolt."

There was thunder in the distance.

"Oh shut up Drama Queen!"

All of the demigods looked at me expectantly like I was supposed to be exploded in flames.

"It says four people, and since I'm a son of Poseidon I should choose!" Christian yelled, Chiron let him be quest leader for peace. 

"I choose those two hotties over there." He said at two girls, I recognized both of them one was Annabeth Chase, and the other was a girl I once saved, Thalia Grace. The two girls walked to Christian. Annabeth blushed slightly, Thalia slapped my twin, leaving a red mark on his face which caused the campers to chuckle.

"And I'll be the fourth since, I'm a son of Poseidon." I really didn't want to use the son of a major god excuse to go on the quest but I'm afraid I have to. Or my idiot of a brother will choose a Aphrodite spawn. 

"Alright, let's head west."

A/N yeah yeah rushed chapter, but sorrrrrrrrrrry for rushing it not my fault, *makes grumpy noises* just hope you guys enjoyed it.
