The Eldest God

Chapter 5

We were in a place called 'Aunty Em's Gnome Emporium' I knew where we were I've been here a few decades ago. I wanted to see why every visitor came inside of here but never came out I learned the hard way. Aunty Em is actually Medusa in disguise she tried to kill me before, but I've sliced her head off before she can try anything. But, she doesn't deserve that fate, the fates are so cruel.

"Oh kids! Come inside I've got burgers."

We all went inside, I was very cautious and I didn't eat any of the food that was there for me, Annabeth and Christian however, were gobbling it up. I'm not even sure if they were chewing at that point. I laughed at that thought, it was truly funny and I needed a good laugh, it's been so glum.

"Children you want more?"

"Yes Aunty Em."

They said in a unison, I looked at them and just shook my head, the fates don't want me to interfere, because of balance. It really is difficult to do this job, "childrensssssssssss" Annabeth and Thalia looked at me in horror.

"We're in Medusa's lair aren't we." Annabeth said, she tried to hide the fear but instead it came out like an cowering voice. Which I mean everyone is fearful at times, yes even me children, "We probably are." Christian just kept on eating his noodles and Burger King, "Who's Medusa." He said with a stuffed mouth, a pickle from his burger flew onto my hand. 

I quickly swatted it away, "Brother your truly sick." 

"It's my speciality." Christian retorted he started winking and eyebrow raising at Thalia and Annabeth. But before Thalia can kill my idiotic brother, Medusa emerges from the door, they all look away except for me since I'm a god. 

I stop time by waving my hand, but unpausing it for Medusa. "Medusa, I remember when you were a young maiden. Then my brother wronged you, I would lock away your soul in Tartarus but you don't deserve that you deserve peace." I said with a calm voice.

"Who are you! And why is everybody paused!" She snarled, 

"Oh, you don't remember me? I'm Perseus the eldest Olympian dont you remember?" (A/N for context Perseus was friends with Medusa.) 

"HA! Yeah and I'm Hades." She said with a mocking laughter, I knew what was to be done my brother Zeus, must of erased everyone's memory of me. Hades told me this but I forgot, I sighed and then slashed off her head with a makeshift sword. Then I incinerated the head, and prayed to my brother Hades to have some peace on her soul.

"Goodbye friend." A tear rolled off my face, and it hit the floor I resumed time again. 

"W-hat h-ap-penned?" Thalia's voice was scared, she must've thought she would of died, poor baby. 

"I don't know, maybe she left and had to attend some important monster meeting?" I tried for a smile. 

"Let's just get going."

-Time Skip-

I was with Thalia, Annabeth, and Christian at a burger joint, when a man who arrived in a motorcycle named 'Harley' my nephew. Ares, I love all of my relatives truly, but this one was a odd fellow. I felt anger radiating off of him, an aura that made me so annoyed that I drew my sword Gladius Adolescentia. But, I hastily put it back in it's ring form, 

"Hey punks!"

"Ares." I said that name with blatant disgust, he's a disappointment to me and should be in the Void having an eternal punishment.

"It's Lord Ares, punk or I'll smash you into a ball." 

"Wow, your insults are so bad they haven't gotten better I see." 

Thalia, and Annabeth glanced over at me, I caught my mistake it means I just said I've met Ares before. 

"Haven't gotten better? Who are you, I'll kill you!"

He rose his sword, but I blocked with Gladius Adolescentia, it created a huge shockwave around the restaurant. Breaking the glass, I time stopped with a wave of my hand, and let Ares be resumed without hurting these poor mortals.

"You still didn't tell me your name punk! Wait, grandfather?"

I laughed like a hyena, he thought I was Kronos, I'm not that old. Sure, I just stopped time but that's because I can rewrite my fate, so I just made time my domain. 

"It's uncle."

"But, your not Poseidon, or Hades, wait that means."

His face had a feeling of shock, and being frightened "I am Perseus, eldest son of Kronos, the former king of Olympus and I sentence you to eternal punishment in the void." I grinned, and took out my symbol of power, and stabbed him with it, sending him to the void and making him fade. So, you see kids war gods are stupid and should beg for mercy when you can kill them with one slice. So, I resumed time and stepped back into the restaurant like I've never left.

"Percy, I need to talk with you.." Thalia said, she glanced at me.

Christian winked at Annabeth, and Thalia smacked him making him fall, we walk outside of the restaurant to a corner.

"Thanks!" She ran up to me and hugged me,

 "For what?"

"You saved me from being a tree and from Hades' monsters."

"So, ah that is me but please keep that a secret the gods won't be too pleased to see I'm alive."

"You should pray to Calista the goddess of bravery." Thalia said, in theory this would be a great idea but I am not going to pray to the person who should of been my child. But, that bastard Zeus just had to go to Hestia, a peaceful woman and have a kid.

"No, I don't pray people pray to me but I don't pray."

"Also can you stop hugging me now your kinda squeezing my body to death." She blushed like a tomato, and stopped hugging me. "We should go back." Thalia responded, trying desperately on changing the subject. 

"Yeah, your right." We then walked back into the to see Annabeth's head on Christian shoulder, Thalia assuming the worst punched Christian breaking his nose. "Ow! What was that for!" 

"Stop taking advantage of a girl sleeping or I'll kill you and give you to the hunters and they can decide on what to do with you." 

"It's not me! She just laid her head on my shoulder. And hey, what were you two doing? Were you having fun?" Christian said winking at me, Thalia stomped on his head but at the same time she tried to hide that she was blushing.

A/N the end is kinda a filler, but it kinda isn't i dont know, I hope you guys enjoy this and the updates are probably gonna come in a bit slower. Since I actually have to read Lightning Thief to follow the events and I haven't read it in like a decade.
