I laid on the rooftop and looked up at the stars. I smiled and put my hands behind my head. I closed my eyes and sighed. I heard somebody enter my room and climb the stairs to the roof. I groaned as I saw my brother peek his head out the window.

"It's time for supper," he said looking over at me with a smile. I sighed and spread my arms out looking over at him.

"I will just eat in my room," I said and he chuckled.

"You can't use the same excuse every time, Mom is already catching on," he said as I sighed.

"And besides, we should eat as a family," he said.

"I'll come down in a minute," I said and he smirked.

"Right..." he said as I stuck my tongue out at him. He laughed and climbed back down the stairs. I sat up and hugged my knees close to my chest. I looked up at the sky one last time and took a deep breath. I crawled over to the window and climbed down to the stairs below. I closed the windows and climbed down. I put my feet on the ground and walked out of my room, heading to the kitchen
