Felix’s pitch dark orbs were staring into mine hungrily.
“F-Felix…l-eave me...”
But he didn’t budge a bit. Slowly a sharp and horrible pain washed through my neck. My mouth was slapped shut and I was not able to scream for help.
Luck was on my side. Within a few seconds, his hands loosened. I got the chance to free myself from his grip and ran further away from him. I turned to see Alexin punching the hell out of Felix.
“Alexin, stop!” I shouted catching my breathe. Thank god, the room was sound proof for the theatre class.
Alexin stopped punching, but when he did, Felix’s nose was covered in crimson. Both the guys were panting heavily. They both shot their glances at me.
“I a-am sorry… Saffron,” Felix said and looked at me with eyes filled with guilt.
I was still in my thoughts of ‘Was Felix a vampire too?’
“Look Felix, I understand it’s really hard to control the thirst when you just shifted and when a person with a sweet blood is nearer. But control. What would have happened if I did not come save her?!” Alexin yelled and pulled me out of the room with him.

We walked a bit away from the class and stood at the balcony.
“I am sorry,” he said out of blue.
“What?”
“I am sorry,” he repeated.
“For what?”
“For pulling you into this mess of vampires and risking your life. If I had kept my mouth shut in the class you will still be the same innocent funny foolish girl. You may hate me and I won’t ask ‘why?’” he said and hung his head low.
Even if I was highly offended by the way he described me, I patted his cheeks and said, "you did nothing, and also remember that, I will not judge you guys equally, Alexin.”

After all, the quote did make sense.
