"Hyung, hurry up!" Taehyung urged, practically dragging Yoongi inside the hall where a musical play by the 3rd years was being held, an annual activity during school festival.
Yoongi was not really into plays and such, but since Taehyung insisted to watch and support his best friend, he didn't have the heart to say no.
"Why are you so slow, hyung!" Taehyung called out once more, excitedly pointing the front seats which have the best view of the stage.
"Will you calm the fuck down?" Yoongi hissed, making the other pout.
"If we didn't hurry, we could've lost the seat Jimin especially reserved for us." Taehyung argued which made the older sigh as he took a seat next to him.
He immediately fished his phone out to play a basketball game while Taehyung kept on looking around.
"You should've invited your classmates, hyung." Taehyung said, glancing at the older who was immersed with playing.
"Hyung.. tell your friends to come buy tickets and watch the show." Taehyung reiterated which made Yoongi hiss.
"Why? Let them do what they want." Yoongi responded that made the other pout.
"We need more audience. I don't want Chim to be disappointed when he sees the crowd to be so little." Taehyung said.
Yoongi finally stopped playing as he looked around to see that not much students were really interested in the play.
"That's fine. It's not like he's the lead anyway." Yoongi said.
He had met Jimin a couple of times already, but they didn't really click. He's too timid around him, too bratty to Taehyung, and too picky in a lot of things.
He's Yoongi's least favorite kind of person which explained why they rarely talk to each other.
If not for Taehyung, they wouldn't really be seen hanging out together.
"Chim and the rest of the drama club invested their time and efforts for this. Please, hyung?" Taehyung looked so hopeful that Yoongi had to agree to everything he wanted.
"Fine. I'll message my classmates to come here, but it's still up to them if they're coming or not." Yoongi said which made Taehyung beam.
"Yes! Thank you, hyung. I'll message mine too." Taehyung quickly called the people who could join them.
Ten minutes before the play and the students started coming in the hall which made Taehyung beam from excitement.
There's an increase in number of audience which was enough for the show to start.
Yoongi didn't really pay much attention to the play. He was busy with his phone, not until he heard a soft and unique voice from the stage which made him look up.
And at that moment, he wished he shouldn't have, for he had seen a beauty he didn't expect.
It was Jimin no doubt, but he's blond.
And it suited him so well as he glowed every time the spotlight was directed to him.
He sounded so angelic as he sang on stage while showcasing his acting skills that Yoongi had only witnessed then.
Has he always been this beautiful?
Yoongi couldn't help but remember the encounters he had with the latter.
He had always viewed him as the bratty and overly rude best friend of Taehyung.
But now he's seeing a different side of him.
He's giving his all, though the audience was only bare minimum. He didn't let it affect his performance as he performed at his best.
Everyone couldn't take their eyes off of him, and it was evident that Jimin became the center of the play though his role was just the friend of the lead.
He was glowing brighter than anyone as he smiled, cried, and sang, putting his heart in his performance.
And to Yoongi, he looked breathtakingly beautiful at that moment.
Too blinding and captivating.
As the play reached its end, Yoongi found himself capturing every moment of the blond beauty. His smile looked so pretty, telling everyone that the play had been successful.
He's beaming which had Yoongi bewitched and mesmerized as he continued to take pictures of him.
Pictures that he didn't let anyone see, not even Taehyung.
From that moment on, Yoongi would tease Jimin just to get his attention.
He would play pranks on him, even to the point of making him angry.
Yoongi knew this wasn't the right approach to someone he likes, but he's just too shy and embarrass to make a serious move on the latter.
He's afraid of rejection, and he knew he'll be rejected since Jimin and him really didn't click since the beginning.
So instead of risking his heart, Yoongi just decided to keep his feelings to himself and just play it off like a joke.
Though in truth, the image of the blond beauty he had seen that day remained to him, to his memory, and to his heart.
Lucky for him, his teasings and jokes finally bear fruit as Jimin learned to see past them. He was able to see beyond his harsh words and flirty messages.
Jimin was able to find Yoongi and the real him which he tried to cover together with his buried feelings.
And Yoongi couldn't be happier.
The blond beauty had found him.
