The rest of the day went by slowly, people looking for the queen's daughter for the 'reward'. I doubt there is one. She'll probably frame the person who found her by saying that the person was a kidnapper. Either way, I don't want to get involved.
"Almost out of coffee. That's not good" I said. I needed coffee to keep me awake, who knows what I might see without it.
I decided to get dressed and walk to the store. As I was halfway there I heard...shouting? "Don't get involved, do NOT get involved...I'm getting involved" My curiosity got the better of me. I saw two people chasing someone in a blue dress. Before the two people could see what happened I swiftly pushed the person into a hidden alleyway. "Did you see a woman run past here?" One of them asked me "Yeah" I replied "She went to the center of the city"
"Thank you" they said, and ran towards that direction. When they left I walked over to they alleyway where I pushed her and helped her up. "Who are you? Why did you save me?" She asked. "I'm Alex, Alex Maverick. Nice to meet ya" I said
"That doesn't answer my question, why did you save me?" She asked again. Why did I save her? Instinct? I'm gonna go with instinct. "Uh, instinct mate. Whats your name?"
