A/N] This story was probably my favourite unfortunately I didn't have motivation to continue it.
I believe I've been walking for hours within this forest and I think I'm losing my mind, losing my horse wasn't an option ether, when those bandits ambushed us they decided it would be fun to scare her so bad that she would run away, will I ever see her again? I'm not sure. Anyway I'm running out of water and food, this isn't my best time out on the road or in this case walking on the thin tracks in the forest. Also I believe I'm not even close to finding Winds-well valley, the place I was supposed to be there about two days ago. I sighed and thought to myself, how the time flies when you are out here and it's going to be dark soon and there's not time to set up camp for myself. I kept on walking until I noticed another track that was a lot wider than the one I was just walking on. "This must be a track that is used for horse carts." I mumbled to myself. And I was right it was for horse carts because here was one now, a great big ginger horse was approaching on the track and it was pulling a light blue cart with a young looking woman who was sitting on top of the cart well steering the horse. I decided to run up to her without thinking that I was approaching this stranger then I yelled. "Hey, I need your help!" The woman pulled back on the rains of her horse to stop and looked straight at me, however as I got closer I slipped on a muddy puddle that I didn't see that it was in front of me, great how embarrassing this was my worst day ever!
"Why hello there young traveler, do need a hand? you seem lost not to mention you look exhausted my dear." The young woman said as she hoped off the top of cart to take a closer look at me for any injuries. "Are you ok?" She asked. "I'm fine, thank you I just feel kinda embarrassed now." I stuttered my words with a nervous laugh. "S..sorry." I said. "That's quite alright, come let's get you clean you up." She helped me get back up on my feet, and then lead me at the back of the cart where she sat me down and then grabbed a bottle of water and a cloth to help clean up the mud off my face and hands. "Thank you." I said as she was gently rubbing off the mud from my check. "Your welcome, say why are you alone out here? It's dangerous out in this forest." She asked, I didn't say anything for a moment then I took a sigh.
"The real question is why are you helping me? And why are you alone?." I replied as put my head down. Then the woman laughed. "Haha, Me alone? I'm no longer alone now that I'm with you, however I did have my horse to keep me company and I know my way around this forest like the back of my hand, if anything you don't need to worry about me when I'm travelling around. Also you said you needed my help which I'm guessing your lost in this forest and you also fell over which probably didn't help, am I right?" I looked up at her and frowned and took a deep sigh "yes I need your help, I'm looking for Wind-well Valley I was supposed to be there about two days ago however I got ambushed by bandits and lost my horse and half of my supplies because of that, I have been wondering around without my map and walking on the wrong trails this forest it really messes with you." "Well your in luck because I live in Wind-well village and If we go now we can make it by morning, just as your telling the truth I will help you." "Thank you I promise I am telling the truth, as long as you are telling the truth too, so truths?" I said handing out my hand to shake hers "truths." she replied with a smile and shook my hand. "You can relax in the back there is a extra blanket and some food in that basket there, and don't worry your not being a bother let's just get this show on the road ok?" "Yeah sure thank you again, but isn't it safer to travel in the morning it's almost dark." "Again don't worry we will get there, I promise. Name's Anna by the way." She said as she hoped on the front of the cart and told her horse to move forward. Oh how rude of me I thought. "Oh right, my name is Jessie it's nice to meet you Anna." "You should get some rest." "Yes ma'am?" I replied. What nice woman I hope we can be friends and I hope Wind-well village will except me for that job offer as a farmer for the Autumn season.
