Yesterday was a trying day for the Uzumaki siblings, but today is a new day. Classes started at the prestigious Ninja Academy, where once students were prepped for war, but now in peacetime, they can study less physical and deadly curriculums.

On their way there, Himawari takes the time to thank her siblings for believing in her yesterday. They think nothing of it since they've always thought the world of her.

Minori asks them what they're most looking forward to at the Academy. Boruto seems uninterested in anything, and Himawari isn't entirely sure what to expect. On the other hand, Minori is eager to find out who their comrades will be. Their father once told them that the people who go to the Academy will probably be with them for life, maybe even becoming best friends or family.

Himawari stops and looks at them. It's hard to predict what this new experience will bring. But she's glad to be doing it with her siblings. Minori smiles, and even Boruto, who isn't looking forward to it, can't help but smirk.

Boruto cast his eyes toward his father's stone face, which is being repaired due to the train incident. "Whatever life or path we choose, it'll be our own and nothing to do with you."

Looking over to the Academy entrance, he notices Shikadai waiting there. He heads over, asking his friend if he's ready to run this place. Shikadai asks him if he's joking? "You're lucky they didn't suspend you for what you did yesterday."

"Listen... what's done is done. I can't stay worrying about all the times I get in trouble," Boruto replies.

"Stop talking like that," Minori voices with concern. She reminds him that this is supposed to be a new start for all of them; nothing like the thunder rail can happen again.

"You worry too much, sis. This is going to be an experience. Just watch," he states, which doesn't soothe her mind. Instead, it makes Minori think of her conversation with her father and Shikamaru about the ambush on the train and Boruto's involvement. She was able to clear her brother from any of the blame. What worried her most was overhearing them after she left, on the letter found in the cart. If someone really infiltrated the village, then who's to say they're not in the Academy? She'll have to be vigilant while ensuring her brother stays out of trouble.

"Minori. Are you coming, sister?" Himawaries's voice soothes her contemplation, and she rushes after them.

As they enter the academy, someone from inside watches them.

The moment Boruto enters the classroom, he catches everyone's attention by announcing his name and how he intends to contribute to the class's success. This is the opposite of maintaining a low profile, which is why Shikadai asks him to stop.

"So how exactly do things work around here? Can we just sit wherever we want?" Boruto asks.

"Seems that way," Minori says.

As they walk to a seat, Boruto and Shikadai sit side by side. Minori sits across from him while Himawari sits next to her.

"Wow, this is already ten times better than being homeschooled by mom," Boruto voices.

"Your mom too, huh?" Shikadai states, remembering all the studying and training his own put him through.

"Yeah, she would always make us study non-stop. Minori was the only one who actually seemed like she enjoyed it, even if eventually she stopped showing up and started doing her own thin--"

"How come he wasn't punished for what he did?

"You know why, cuz he's the Hokage's kid."
