One Last Try [ Honkai Impact ] | Original Character Insert

Prologue

She smashed the gateway of the Sea of Quanta with her bare hands formed into a fist, helplessly as her other self watched.

"It's futile, don't make this any harder for us Seele. He already helped us escape that place. He is done for..."

The girl continued to cry as she continued to slam the ground with her fist, while her other self continues to watch her with clenched fists. The man they left in that Sea of never ending reality, and them watching him, slowly get overran by Quantum type Honkai Beasts fills them with guilt.

The other Seele grabs Seele at her right wrist with her left hand, as she stood at her side behind Seele, stopping Seele from hurting herself more. But even though she tried to stop Seele, she just wouldn't stop slamming the ground even though her hand was already bleeding.

"Stop it already you idiot!"

The girl didn't stop even though her other self shouted at her. That is when the darkness of the pit of hope once again shone a bright light.

After Seele smashed the ground once more, a crack appeared from it, which Veliona. The other Seele saw the ray of light, from the never ending darkness.

"This is..."

There was still hope. In that moment, the gate of the Sea of Quanta once again opens as Seele fell through it. Slowly her dress began to change from her uniform to a beautiful white dress along with her Scythe called Undine's Tale transforming into an unknown white Scythe.

In their eyes. Their memories with Hakuto flashes through. From when Hakuto first met Seele, when they ate together, when he got mad at her for doing silly stuff, when the three of them all smiled together, and finally. The last smile that Hakuto showed when he died in front of their eyes.

Seele clenches her Scythe as Quantum Beasts tried stopping her while she cuts through them, while Veliona watched in awe.

In Hakuto's perspective, he knew he was already done for. So he amassed the last of his Honkai Energy and the power of his Gem called the Gem of Delusions, ready to blow up the whole Sea.

But he suddenly sensed a weird type of Honkai Energy from above, and before he knew it, the Quantum Beasts were slowly getting eliminated. As the Honkai Beasts continue to die, a small gap from the pile he was in, got revealed and what he saw surprised him.

It was Seele and he understood the reason why he couldn't identify whose Honkai Energy it was, because. The power was never ever seen in the years Hakuto lived for.

"So this was the untouched power Veliona was talking about... but even so..." he clenched his fist while watching Seele with a pained expression.

In Seele's perspective. She continued to slash the beasts with accuracy, hitting all of their weak points and eliminating them in one hit.

But it wasn't enough. The hordes of beast continued to pile up even with her new found power until she was trapped by the Quantum Beasts. But she understood what she had to do.

"I'm begging you... the other me, please lend me your strength to save Hakuto. He protected us everytime and you know that as well!"

Veliona smirks as she too, slowly transforms her outfit into a black dress with claws as her weapon with a sigh after finishing.

"It can't be helped then, it's not like you can do anything without me. Plus it's Hakuto, so I'll give you a hand."

With that, the two grabs the hilt of the Scythe as they both aim at the never ending beasts, blasting away and eliminating all of the beasts as if they were paper.

With the hordes eliminated, they saw Hakuto from the same spot laying down, with one open eye as he already overused his left eye.

But even with the pain. He slowly stood up and reached out to Seele's hand. But pain surges through his knees which makes him drop to the floor.

"Hakuto-san!" Seele shouted as Hakuto stood up once more, finally succeeding to grasp her hand, closing his eyes, and pulling him from the darkness around him.

He opened his eye and saw Seele holding his hand tightly while they slowly float to the exit.

"I'll never let you go again" She reassured. Hakuto couldn't identify who said that due to his consciousness slowly withering away.

But before he closed his eyes, the last thing he remembered was Seele pulling her into a hug and slowly being swallowed by the gate.
