Chapter 3

Walking into this school again and I feel even more confident. Elijah and I haven't spoken to each other since he kissed me yesterday so I'm hoping to speak to him today. Everybody is staring at me whispering and all I do is smile and speak to them.

"Aaron" Elijah says walking up to me.

"Umm.. hey" I tell him.

"You wanna sit with me at lunch today?" He asks me. My heart skipped a beat. Why is he being so nice to me all of a sudden?

"Sure". I tell him. "Everybody is staring at us" I tell him then start laughing.

"I know. You want to really make them talk?" He whispers to me then laughs as well.

"Yea" I say with a grin. He looks around at everybody and puts his arm out for me to grab. I look at him with a gasp. This is he "she's my girl" signal. Why would I pass up that though? I grab his arm as confident as I can and walk with him to me locker. Everybody is shocked, staring with their mouths wide open. We get up to where Carissa is and she sees me with him and her mouth fly's open. She walks over to us.

"Elijah! What is this?" She asks yelling at him.

"What do you mean what is this? Oh oh you haven't heard?" He says being sarcastic. "This is my girlfriend, Aaron". My mouth fly's open along with everyone else's. His girlfriend? Wow. Elijah Trego and Aaron Jones, a couple. I smile at him and laugh at her.

"You won't tell everybody though" she
Tells him.

"Oh really?" He asks. "Ladies and gentlemen! May I have your attention! This girl right here, Aaron Jones is my girlfriend and I am proud to say it." he grabs me closer to him and gives me a quick kiss. Carissa gasps even louder.

"Come on baby... we have to go" I tell him while staring at Carissa. I tug on Elijah's arm going to my locker. We meet Nicky there. She turns around and sees me and Elijah together. She gives me a confused look but then smiles.

"I knew it!" She says making me and Elijah laugh.

"Yea... we are officially a couple. How it happened so fast I don't know but me and him definitely have some things to discuss".

"Oh really?" He asks me, then smiles.

"Yea". I tell him then punches his chest, playfully.

"Well perhaps we can discuss tonight?" he asks.

"Sounds like a plan to me." I tell him.

"Well umm.. look I'm going to go catch up with my friends so I'll see you tonight okay?"

"Yea" I say. Then he gives me a hug and kiss and goes on his way. Nicky looks at me bucking her eyes.

"How?" She asks i shrug my shoulders.

"If I knew all this could happen by an incident I would have been pissed off Carissa" I tell her then we both begin to laugh.

"You better bet ready for tonight" she points at me. "Be at my house so I can help you get ready".

"Alright so meet you there at around... 4:30 ish?" I ask her and she nods her head.

"Shave too." she says as she walks away making my laugh.

"I'm just kidding" she tells down the hallway. I'm so exited to talk to him, how the hell did all of this escalate so fast? One day he's helping me up from a fight, then he kisses me and the next day he announces that I'm his girlfriend. Elijah wasn't just anybody before any of this either. He was my crush and now he's my boyfriend..
