07| Happy Birthday Eddie

He turned us around and pushed us forward, "We're going south. The rest of you coming or what?" We began walking away from the rest f them but I glanced back as I heard Brooklynn say, "I'm in" "We're in too" Yasmina said, I think she was referring to herself and Sammy. Ben's voice was the last I heard and he still sounded hesitant. "Um, but guys? It's just one dinosaur... It's just one dinosaur..." I hear his footsteps as he ran over to us and smiled. Everyone was on board. We can escape this.

We were all tracking through the tall grass, still in the jungle. I was on Dariu's back again and surprisingly, he wasn't tired of carrying me yet. A fly flew near my face and I blew it away. Everyone was panting and tired. Suddenly I heard a twig snap behind me and I screamed and fell to the ground as Darius jumped up in shock. I whipped my head around and looked in the direction the sound came from and Ben stood there, nervously.

"Sorry, stepped on a twig," He told us, rubbing the back of his head. "Ugh, cmon man!" Brooklynn sign, "You done gave me a heart attack" Sammy placed her hand on her heart and gave him a look. "I should step on you!" Kenji hissed, pointing threateningly at Ben and glaring. 

"It's... ok, Ben. We are all on edge" I told him softly, holding onto Darius for support. "Yeah, on edge. And we are lost!" Brooklynn snappily replied, frowning. "We've been out here for a while now. Darius, are we sure we're still headed towards the park?" Sammy asked us. Brooklynn rolled her eyes and glared at her, "Well, we'd be sure if I still had my phone, because it has a GPS, a compass app, and is also a phone!!"

I just groaned. I didn't want to hear them argue again! "Sammy didn't steal your phone! No one stole your phone!" I stepped towards them and frowned "Can we please just stop talking about the phone? It isn't important right now!" I told Brooklynn. She huffed in annoyance and walked away. 

"You guys! You guys, you guys, you guys! Could you all yell at each other quieter pls?" Ben asked us anxiously, cowering away from the look we all gave him. I went back over to Darius and he just stared at me. I shrugged my shoulders in response. "My fellow campers, chill!" Kenji exclaimed.

"What we need here is someone who can make the hard call on what to do next. Since I'm leadership material, I'll do this!" I rolled my eyes while he smirked at all of us. Darius groaned and put his hands on his face.

"Kenji, seriously?" I said. He covered my mouth with his hand. I started shouting at him but my voice was muffled. Brooklynn sniggered and I shot her a glare.

"Now, where was I? Oh yeah. My first decree as the leader is for you to stop talking and listen to my sister and Darius!" I bit his hand and he yelped and jumped back. "You did not just say that Kenji!"

"I think he just did" Yasmina muttered. She looked up as she realized we all heard her. "What?" I rolled my eyes again.

Kenji came. Back over to where Darius and I stood and whispered to us. "You got us out of the camp alive Darius and you Y/n, you can help him with tour advanced dino knowledge. Plus, I can blame both of you if someone gets eaten. Leadership" He snickered at the last part and went back to everyone else.

"Which way Dino-Nerds?" Don't call me that Kenji. I looked at Darius and he looked back at me and I nodded. I had an idea and I think. He understood.

"Please, you're just trying to cover up that you're lost too, Mr Vip. None of us knows where we are!" Brooklynn told him, crossing ber arms. I looked around at where we were and gasped.

"Guys, I know where we are! We are near the carnotaurus paddock!" I exclaimed, smiling. Then I frowned. I remembered what we had done to the dinosaur when we escaped its pen.

We soon neared the paddock, Darius and I leading the group who were all tired and bored. When we looked at the fence, I gasped. It had a huge hole. The space was easily big enough for the carnotaur to escape its pen... "The fence... it's broken and ripped down! This is bad!" Darius whispered.
