She didn't know if the plan was going to work or not. It was risky. Anyone could see her at anytime, but she had no other choice; she has to escape.

She had been brewing the Polyjuice potion for three weeks now. It sat in the closet, she stirred it every night when everyone had gone to bed and she snuck ingredients from Tom's potion box, ones she did not have in hers.

It was a huge risk, for if Tom or anyone else opened her closet then they would see the potion brewing at the bottom and she would be in huge trouble.

But she had to get away, she could no longer sit in this huge room with nothing else to do but read and count how many stars were out the window.

She didn't have to worry about Tom. He stayed his distance from her, ever since that night in her bathroom.

Tom claims that he want's to use her powers, but he has not even mentioned or forced her to use them yet. Which made her wonder why she was even here, when she could be doing other things.

It was now the last day for the potion to brew. The day she escapes. She had grabbed a maids robes and plucked a piece of hair from it. She just hoped that whoever was the owner of the red locks, did not show up that day.

The potion stung her throat and she felt the urge to throw up, the bile substance tasted disgusting as it went toward her stomach.

She looked in the mirror and what stood before her wasn't Malina. But a tiny maid with long red hair looked back at her.

She quickly put on the robes and grabbed her things, packing them in her suitcase. She put her hood up and made her way out the door.

Her body stiffened when Marcus came walking down the hallway, his eyes staring at her as she walked by. She let out a sigh of relief when he winked at her and continued to pass by her.

Her shoes clicked against the steps of the stairs and the front door was empty, leaving a free entrance for her to walk on out.

The door creaked open and the sunshine reached her face, her skin warming from the hot day. She smiled as she walked down the concrete stairs, saying a silent farewell to the Manor behind her.

She put down her hood and walked down the garden pathway, trying not to run as she got closer to the end of the Malfoy house.

She let out a breath she didn't know she was holding as she reached the end, a wide grin plastered on her face.

Black smoke whistled around her body, revealing a brown haired man.

Her throat tightened and her heart dropped as she watched Tom apparate in front of her, blocking her way of escape.

"You really think you could escape me, Malina?" He tsked. "You really are pathetic."

"I don't know what you're talking about my lord." She gave a small bow, still keeping up the act.

"Don't play games with me." He harshly grabbed her arm and they popped back into her room. The cauldron still laying on the floor.

"Have you forgotten? Or have you gone dumb?" He let go of her arm, now standing  in front of her, fury burning inside his eyes.

"I have not forgotten anything, Riddle." She answered.

"Really? Because it seems like you have." He spat.

No

How could she forget once again? Tom had known about everything from the start. There was no escape for her.

"Yes, Malina. I've known since the very beginning."

"Why didn't you stop me."

"I wanted to see how far you would go. I thought I could trust you, Donovan. We had a deal."

"A deal? Tom, I have been locked in this house for three months now with nothing to do. You don't even allow me to go outside! You disappear for weeks at a time, not giving me any tasks or anything to do to help your little group."

"Have you ever thought it is because I don't need you yet? I had plans for you since Hogwarts but you were then taken away, I had to find you, Malina. I can't have you running off again, that is why I keep you inside."

"Maybe I won't run away if you let me be free!"

She released her anger on Tom, anger that she had been keeping in for weeks. Both of their eyes burned with deep hatred as they stared at each other.

Tom's jaw clenched as he watched the candles flicker around the room, the non existent wind blowing the curtains that surrounded the windows.

"Malina, calm down." He told her, trying to stop the witch from an outburst.

"Calm down? Fuck you, Tom! I fucking hate you!" She shouted, anger burning her throat as the candles burned out, leaving them both in darkness.

He caught her wrists when she made motion to cast a spell on him, pinning them to her side.

"Let go of me!" She yelled, thrashing against his grip.

"Malina that is enough." He said calmly. Her hands escaped her fists pounding against his chest.

"I hate you!" She yelled over and over again, hitting Tom's chest as she yelled.

"I hate you." She whispered, tears rolling down her cheeks. Tom caught her hands again and pulled her to his chest, ingulfing her in his embrace.

"Shh, Malina. It's okay." He told her, her face burried deep in his chest.

"I hate you." She whispered again, her voice coming out in a sob. The embrace fell to the ground and Tom collected her in his arms, both sitting on the cold floor, her tears staining his black shirt.

She didn't know how long they stayed like that, but she fell asleep to the comfort of Tom's arms and the soft whisperings in her ear.
