Now let's take a look on the other side of parenting. We'll look at my friend's story, who's parent's don't care at all. To respect her privacy, I will refer to her as Ally.
When I first met her, she seemed like the nicest person in the world. Turns out, she had a lot to hide.
I'm just going to say it. She is a messed up kid. The things she posts on instagram are violent and just don't make sense! She posts pictures of bruises, and deep, deep self inflicted harm.
First thing's first. She dropped out of school for "homeschooling" (which she never actually does), she goes out of the house at one AM to meet "friends", she cuts very deep on her arms, legs, and stomach, she drinks, she smokes, she does drugs, and she's only 14.
Her mother is very rude to all of her friends, her step dad abuses her and her mother, she has like 5 brothers and sisters in elementary school (who she has to pick up every day), she tries to kill herself practically every night, and her mother has CANCER.
Now kids who's parents hardly care, from what I've seen, turn out very similar to this.
