T W O -  we gon' die

♡ ♡ ♡

The only thing that came to mind when Rosie gained conscious was that the idiot guard had tranquilized her, and that they had placed her on the seat wrong, her head was limp by the side, making pain shoot through her neck, as she lifted up her head. She groaned as she looked around the room, noticing other criminals in the seats surrounding her. Rosie tried to get out of the seat she was in, but noticed that she was strapped in tightly, restricting her from getting out of her seat.

The girl was beyond confused wondering where she was and where they were taking her. Earth. The word came to her as she remembered the guard telling her after she was tranquilized. Rosie's mind began to race as she wondered why they all were being sent to the ground; the last she knew, Earth was inhabitable for at least another hundred years. The air was toxic and would kill them immediately, why would the Ark send them down to Earth to die?

Rosie began to look around for Octavia when she realized the girl hadn't been talked to since she woke up. Rosie was use to Octavia talking her ear off when they were together, so being away from the black haired girl was something different-- it made her feel lonely. Rosie glanced to her left and she sighed in relief; Octavia was still unconscious from the tranquilizer. Octavia began to stir, waking up from her unconscious state.

"Tav. Wake up. Like fully wake up. Don't go back to sleep." Rosie joked to her friend, who had the tendency to go back to sleep minutes after she woke up.

"Where the hell are we?" Octavia asked Rosie as she looked around the drop ship in confusion, she wasn't familiar with the place and it worried her inside.

"Prisoners of The Ark, hear me now." Jaha's voice sounded on a television nearby, causing all of the delinquents to look over at it. Octavia and Rosie rolled their eyes at the screen, having an immense dislike towards the man. "You've been given a second chance, and as your Chancellor, it is my hope that you see this as not just a chance for you, but a chance for all of us, indeed for making mankind itself. We have no idea what is waiting for you down there. If the odds of survival were better, we would've sent others. Frankly, we're sending you because your crimes have made you expendable." Rosie rolled her eyes at his words. Their crimes made them expendable, some of their crimes were small; Octavia's crime was being born; did that made her expendable?

"Your dad's a dick, Wells." A delinquent's voice sounded out loudly through the drop ship, as Rosie scanned the ship and noticed the dark skinned boy sitting next to Clarke Griffin. Wells Jaha, son of Chancellor Jaha, the man who had put all of the delinquents on the drop ship towards their impending death. Wells Jaha was not going to be having a good time on Earth, Rosie concluded.

"Those crimes will be forgiven, your records wiped clean." Rosie scoffed as she heard Jaha say. Sure their records would be wiped clean, but that doesn't change the fact that it happened, and how they are still going to be treated, as criminals, well if they lived and survived the toxic air. "The drop site has been chosen carefully. Before the last war, Mount Weather was a military base built within a mountain. It was to be stocked with enough non-perishables to sustain 300 people for up to 2 years." Jaha's voice continued.

"Spacewalk bandit strikes again. "

"Go Finn!"

"Check it out!" Prisoner's voices sounded through the drop ship as Rosie froze in shock. Spacewalker? Finn? What was he doing here? Rosie craned her neck, looking around for the sight of the long haired boy she use to, and still does, call her brother. She smiled as she finally spotted him, floating around, taking advantage of the zero gravity they had in the drop ship.

"Is that Finn? Your Finn?" Octavia asked as she looked at the boy, Rosie nodded her head, smiling at the boy, who was still oblivious to the girl looking at him from a distance. "He's cute." She concluded.

"Your dad floated me after all." Finn says to Wells, making the delinquents who heard the remark burst out in laughter.

"You should strap in before the parachutes deploy." Wells replied, ignoring Finn's remark. Two  more boys in their area unbuckled their belts and got out of their seats, following in Finn's footsteps. Rosie scoffed at their idiocy. Idiots. In Rosie's eyes, all three of them were idiots.

"Hey, you two, stay out of you want to live." Clarke ordered the boys, trying to put some sense and scare them back into their seats.

"Mount Weather is life. You must locate these supplies immediately. Your one responsibility is to stay alive." Jaha's voice still sounded from the television, at this point, no one was listening to the chancellor anymore, but rather focused on Spacewalker. Finn turn to Clarke, recognizing her almost immediately.

"Hey, you're the traitor who's been in solitary for a year." Finn notes.

"You're the idiot who wasted a month of oxygen on an illegal spacewalk." Clarke retorted, annoyed with the boy. Overhearing their conversation, Rosie's mouth dropped in shock. She stood by her idea; Finn was an idiot.

"But it was fun. I'm Finn." Just as the words escaped from his mouth, the whole ship shook. The impact from the ship being removed from the Ark caused Finn and the other two boys to be thrown into the drop ship walls. One of them being thrown to a pipe, causing it to burst; sparks flying everywhere. A pipe flew in Rosie's and Octavia's direction as her hands flew up instinctively to protect her from the pipe. It dropped directly on Rosie's arm, causing a gash to appear almost immediately. Rosie thought nothing of the gash as she was more focused on the drop ship of death that she was in. The ship shook violently, causing many of the delinquents to scream in fear.

"Tav?" Rosie shouted to the girl sitting next to her.

"Yeah?" She replied almost instantly.

"We gon' die!" Was the only thing Rosie shouted back. This was it. This was the end. Was the only thing that Rosie Devereux could think about as she closed her eyes, waiting for the impact and death to follow after.
