F O U R - your brother, your responsibility

Rosie hopped out of the drop ship, not wanting to stand on the metal scraps anymore, she was longing for her feet to touch the ground. She was longing something other than the metal, she was so use to seeing everyday. Finn quickly followed after his brunette friend, eager to share the first moments on Earth together with his friend since childhood.

"Finn, can you believe this? We're finally on Earth!" Rosie exclaimed, attacking the long haired boy into a hug, who's arms automatically wrapped around her waist as he hugged her back. Finn took in the girl's scent, something he longed missed in the past year they spent apart.

"Yeah, we're on Earth." Finn whispered to himself, smiling as they finally got away from the Ark.

"Where's Raven? Is she here too?" Rosie asked, pulling back from Finn's hug, suddenly remembering about her raven haired friend. It has been a year without seeing the girl and Rosie quite frankly missed the mechanic and her mechanic talk.

"She's still on the Ark." Finn replied shortly, not wanting to get into detail. Rosie looked at the boy in confusion.

"What happened?" Rosie pressed on, being her usual stubborn self, wanting to know more about the whereabouts of the raven haired girl.

"I got locked up, she didn't.." Finn trailed off, looking around for something to change the subject on when he caught sight of the girl's arm. There was a gash on it, blood running freely down the girl's arm. "Your arm." He pointed it out to the girl.

"Oh, that's nothing." Rosie winced as she finally noticed the gash. The adrenaline from the crash and the seeing Earth for the first time made her not notice it.

"Let's get you to Clarke." Finn says, tugging the girl along. Clarke Griffin was the daughter of Abby Griffin, the doctor back on the Ark, so she was bound to know some things about medical.

"It's not deep, so you don't need stitches, but just wrap it up, and keep it clean until it heals." Clarke told the brunette after she checked over the wound, giving her a piece of cloth from the small box of medical supplies that was provided in the drop ship.

"Thanks." Rosie smiled at the blonde who nodded in return. Finn had left the girl as soon as they reached Clarke, heading off to scrounge the area for any shelter for them. Rosie sighed as she looked around for the boy, but found nothing. She shrugged before heading to the ramp of the drop ship, and sat down, taking her journal and pen out, her legs swinging back and forth.

September, 2162

Less than a day ago, I was sat in a locked up room, staring at grey walls, losing insanity, slowly one by one. I was waiting for the next five days to come by quicker, so that I'd be finally reunited with my family. But today? Right now? I'm surrounded by trees. By nature. What happened? Earth. Earth happened. They sent us to earth. For what reason, it doesn't matter. What matters is right now, in the moment. I've been given this second chance, and I plan to take it. Earth is my second chance. I'm taking it. Seizing it. Making this moment mine.

Finn is down here. I met him again, after a year. He's still the same old Finn. Idiotic. Humorous. Raven's not down here though, Finn never told me what happened to get him locked up in the Sk-
