"Goodnight guys, See you both next week."
"Goodnight Aki-san" Yams and I called up the stairs, walking over to claim our spots on the couch.
Sitting down to watch Jurassic World, Tsukki, Yams, and I indulge ourselves in popcorn. We had nights like this at least once a week and it was always the best. Sometimes we had homework, other times we would come straight from volleyball, and as soon as the movie started, we'd all be passed out on the couch or floor.
This night was different though, I could feel it in my cold toes. Tadashi fell asleep about an hour in, causing Tsukki to just pause the movie in hopes of finishing it in the morning, and we both put yams around our shoulders, carrying him up to place on the futon in Tsukki's room.
Once he was safely on the floor, Tsukki and I sat on the tiny patio outside his room. We just sat and watched the night sky, taking in the quietness of the night, the cool air sweeping past us.
After a slight shiver, I reached back into the room, pulling my blanket from my bag to put around me. While leaning I looked to find Tadashi quietly snoozing away with his mouth wide open. "Hey Tsukki, I'm sorry that you and Tadashi had to find out with the whole team, I just didn't want you both to let it slip."
"So does this mean that you are gonna be hanging out with that loud ace all the time?"
"Kou? Probably just until I get to make other friends. Akaashi and I will probably be better friends though since he's a second year."
Our conversation hit a lull, looking over he was slightly shivering from the breeze so I scooted closer to him, placing him under the blanket with me.
"Hey Hero, what happened with you calling me by my first name? You did it this morning and then returned to my normal name."
"I called you by your first name earlier when I knocked on your door, but I just am so used to you being Tsukki and Tadashi being Yams. It's a force of habit, just like you calling me Hero instead of my full first name."
While I spoke, I could feel his heart booming, the sound was so loud, to the point I could feel the echo on my body.
"Hiromi, I want you to call me Kei...please baby" His warm breath hugged my ear, sending a shiver down my body, causing my breath to hitch.
Turning to his solemn face, he was dead serious. His eyes landed on my lips, refusing to budge as he awaited what he wanted.
"Kei" was all it took for him to kiss me again. Unlike the other 2 times, his lips were harsh with desire. He was holding back before, but now he felt confident in his movements. His lips stayed, dancing with mine, entangling our arms around each other, rarely stopping for a breath.
We finally stopped once Tadashi's snores broke us out of our peaceful moment. Pulling away from him caused my heart to hurt and based on his facial expressions, he felt the pain too.
Turning back to the stars, he took my hand into his and that was the best way to explain the next 3 weeks. Every morning he would come over for breakfast, and on our walks to school, he would stop on the side of the road and pick a flower for me, always the same kind, springtime carpets. He would come over after practice every day, help me with the summer homework I was assigned, and then help me pack. After everything was done, Kei, Tadashi, and I would all sit outside and watch the stars.
Kei and I agreed that night on the patio that we would put our feelings and emotions to the side. We both knew that 5 hours is far so I would only get to see them at official games and the random birthday. The mature choice was gonna be difficult but we got through it, ignoring our needs for the other's lips or holding each other's hands for all of the practices.
