Entry 3: May 5
My calves gave out today while walking. The pain was indescribable. I had screamed so loudly it sounded like an alarm, and blood spurted onto the stones in the garden, staining them with red.
For now, the doctor removed the device and said I will resume training after three days pass. However, he said that I must continue to walk on my feet during this time, even though it will slow the recovery. Plus, I have to restart the two week period over again. He said that it was vital for me to do what he said.
I've had to change the bandages around my heels a few times today because of the bleeding, but fortunately the rain on the ground has soothed them just enough for me to barely meet my steps requirement.
Once they're back on, I'll push through it because the pain of the pins in my heels is worse than the pain in my calves.
