It was the talent show at school today and you are really excited. It is the first time you're singing in front of a big audience. You love performing so you wasn't that nervous, however since you found out that half of the doctors at Grey Sloan were coming your nerves started to grow.
Everyone was at the table eating breakfast and laughing about something Zola had said earlier.
"hey y/n are you ready for the talent show?" your dad said whilst eating his cereal
"um yeah i think so" you said nervously, your mum realised that you looked a bit panicky
"whats wrong honey? you're going to be amazing" she said whilst kissing the top of your head
"i mean i was fine when just you guys were coming to watch but now half of the hospital are coming to see me, its a lot of pressure" you say
"but everyone coming from the hospital are your family, Alex, Jo, Amelia, Link, Maggie, Winston, Miranda, Ben, Cristina, Lexie, Mark, they just want to support you" your dad says
"you do realise that you guys make up like half of the audience, right?" you say in an obvious tone
"well yes that may be true, but we are all your biggest supporters! your dad and i especially" your mum says
"thank you guys, i'm soo excited for you to see what i've been working on" you say with a smile
"we're excited too, however if you keep talking you're going to miss the bus" your dad says whilst laughing
"oh right *you laugh* come on Zo lets go to school!"
"love you guys" you and Zola shout before running out the door
you hear your mum and dad shout back "love you too!"
Skip to Meredith and Derek at the hospital:
Everyone was in the attending's lounge talking about the various cases throughout the hospital that they were working on.
"so guys do you all still want to come to y/n's talent show?" Meredith asked
"absolutely! i've been looking forward to this all week" Amelia said
"yeah same! i cant wait to see her perform" Alex said with a smile
Everyone agreed and continued to talk about you and how excited they are to see what you've been working on.
