recap: Grayson arrives in NYC and sleeps for most of their first day together, y/n thinks about what they could do with their time together when she comes up with the idea of a road trip. --- it was settled. there would be a road trip with Niki, Wilbur, shlatt, quackity, dream, George, y/n, sapnap, and Grayson. they were all flying in in a week, and they had an RV rented for a two month road trip across the country. everyone had two stops they would make on the way that they had chosen in advanced and the trip would last two months.
in the meantime, y/n and Grayson decided to stream 'just chatting' for about an hour before they had made dinner reservations.

"what's up chat? also before you ask yes Grayson and I met up! suprise!!" I said smiling at grayson then at the webcam.
I talked to chat for a while before deciding to turn on text to speech and media sharing. soon after, we get a dono "mcytbb_00 donated 20$! are you guys planning on meeting up with anyone else from the smp? love you! -olivia" I winked at the web cam and just continued on with the stream.
after the stream ended, Grayson and I got ready for our dinner reservation. I had decided to suprise him with a little welcome gift by taking him to one of my favorite high end restaurants. I looked through my closet for a nice outfit for the occasion and decided on a nice cocktail dress-

I put my hair in loose curls and out on some light makeup. by the time I was ready Grayson was already in the living room waiting. he was in a deep purple dress shirt rolled up to his elbows and dark pants. he must have heard me coming because he looked up as soon as I stepped into the living room.
"Jesus..." he said under his breath as he took in the sight in front of him, "you look really pretty y/n..." he said, his eyes finally meeting mine again, "you don't look as ugly as normal" I said with a bright smile. he just rolled his eyes and held his hand out for me to take.
I drove us to the restaurant and we walked inside, we were imeadiatly hit with the smell of hot food and soft chatter of the other people. everyone was dressed incredibly well and I was glad I made sure to have him bring dress clothes. it was a subtle reminder that my senior prom was in two weeks, even though I probably won't go.
after ordering my food I took out my phone and snapped a quick picture for twitter, since I knew they'd eat this up.

--- after eating some odd but pleasent dishes, we headed out of the restaurant and back to the car. we got inside and I was pleased to finally change back into my pajamas. I took a random hoodie from the bathroom and a pair of spandex and headed into the kitchen.
"that's a nice hoodie y/n" Grayson said chuckling. I looked down and realized I was wearing the hoodie he wore for his face reveal video. "oh shit, sorry dude. you can take it back if you want?" I said, taking note of the fact that the goodie went down to my knees, "nah you're good, it looks better on you anyway."
I felt a soft heat rise to my cheeks from that one statement. the hold this but has over me is unreasonable to be honest.
I headed twords the pantry and took out everything I needed to make brownies, and just as I was doing so Grayson walked in, "y/n are you baking?" he asked walking over to me and looking over my shoulder, "yeah, wanna help?" he just smiled and nodded.
about 20 minutes into making the batter, I felt a hand hit my back and heard the laugh of a particular blonde boy. I turned around to see Graysons hand, coated in flower.
"you little bitch!" I said, grabbing some flower and hitting him in the chest. we continued back and fourth untill he wrapped his arms around my waist, and I look the opportunity to wrap my hands around his next and jump up into him. he held me up by my thighs and just looked at me.
after realizing how intimate this position was for supposed "best friends" I went to get down, only for him to hold me tighter. ten he said something I definitely didn't see coming.
