MENTIONS OF ABUSE‼️‼️
Italics - thinking
RECAP:
'(M/N) looked up at the sky, holding his left ribs with tearful eyes, "Yea, I really do..."'Continuing
"So, what you're telling me is that you just straight up asked him if he misses volleyball?!?!?" Currently, Akito and Alex are chilling at Niko's apartment until Akito brought up the question Alex asked (N/N)."Uhh... Yeah." Alex answered can't, us king a cherry lollipop, "I thought you wanted me to ask?" he was confused on why Niko was getting angry with him. Since he didn't do anything wrong.
"You weren't supposed to make it obvious!!!" Niko was pulling his hair out at this point. 'How can he just say that on their way to Keishin!!!'
"Look all I said was do you miss it, and he responded by holding his left ribs and saying 'Yea, I do,', so I wasn't obvious at all." "Umm...I have something I want to ask?" The confused Akito, that didn't know what the fuck was going on, asked curiously, "What happened with (N/N) and volleyball and why did you ask him that question??"
Alex and Niko both looked at each other wondering if they should tell or not. "Listen...," Niko began while Alex drank his coffee, "(N/N) is the only person that can give us permission to say anything about his past," Niko stared at Akito intensely, while Alex swirled his coffees around.
"I have a question for you Niko?" they mention man looked towards Alex, "Yea, and what's that?"
"Why do you care so much about (M/N) going back to volleyball?" Niko paused for a second. No one ever asked him that question before... Not even Keishin asked him that!!!
"...Well, we both know-how (M/N) is with volleyball and all..." Alex's face scrunches up at this. "Don't. You. Fucking. Lie. To. My. Face. You. Bitch."
Niko trembled, "Yes, sir." Akito let out a small chuckle before getting a death glare from Alex to shut up. "So, tell me the real reason why you want (M/N) to go back to volleyball."
"Well, the truth is that when me and (N/N) were young and this before we met you."Alex nodded to indicate he was listening, "His parents were rough with him. Mentally, emotionally, and sometimes physically abuse him."
Alex and Akito became silent, but Niko decided to continue talking, "They would tell him how worthless he was to them and how he made their life a living hell." Niko began choking up, taking a deep breath. "I could see the cuts and bruises and saw how he flinches at almost every sound and movement. But I didn't know how to help him."
Niko clenched his hands to fists full of anger and frustration. Soon after, he began to relax his hands, "That's when I found out about volleyball." Akito looked at Niko with confusion. "Why volleyball?" asked the younger sibling.
"Well, the reason why I decided to drag (M/N) into volleyball is because of the adrenaline rush you get when playing or just watching the game." Niko began to stand up straight remembering the feeling of adrenaline he had when he saw his first match.
"I wanted to share it with (M/N), so I dragged him to my backyard and began to receive the ball yo each other." Akito was shocked, 'Why would (N/N) easily agree to something last me volleyball?'
"He wasn't really into the whole receiving thing, so I decided to bring him to watch his first-ever volleyball match." Niko rested his cheek on the palm of his hand. "You can almost see the adrenaline rush he had. *giggles* It was so fucking adorable."
"It looked as if he was absorbed into the game..." Alex knows how (M/N) plays. He went to every game he had when they became friends. He even went to the one where he quit. He met (M/N) before he even joined volleyball.
Akito, however, never went to any of his games since they met before entering college. He saw (M/N) play before, but he sure does want to see. Niko stood up with his arms crossed, "With volleyball, it fills a small void in his heart and soul. So, Alex, Akito will you help me get (M/N) to at least help some high schoolers?"
Niko stared straight at the siblings with hope. He needed to have support with him cause he knew he would break down if he did it.
"You already know my answer, Niko..." Alex spoke tiredly. "I will do anything to make that fool happy." Niko was overjoyed that he had gotten one of the brothers to join him. He then turned to Akito. "What about you Akito? Are you up for it?"
Akito took a moment to think while the two others watched him closely. "Hmmm...What do I get out of it?" Niko was now thinking about what to give Akito while Alex wanted to strangle him. Niko then answered calmly, "I'll let you borrow my scrapbook of (M/N) at his volleyball games."
"Deal."
"Alright then. Tomorrow we visit (M/N) at his house to tell him about the club. Now... GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!!"
