                                              Tommy's being made in a lab could explain why, the first tftsmp he's is in is very much either based in the future or from not so far in the past, it looks really scientific... so hm- and on the thought of tftsmp this would explain why he was never in the ones based in the past, irl reason is probably like it didn't work with his schedule, but let me dream ok? And abd no past versions of him could also explain why the egg cant effect him, it can only effect people it recognizes, and there's no way for it to recognize Tommy cus no other versions of him exist he's new, he wasn't- no isn't fully real, he was crafted made to be perfect.
