"I wanna be like Mommy"
The warm summery sun lightens up the Tevatan firmament, signifying a new day to come. While some of the folks of Mondstadt wake up to do their everyday routine, the knights continue their services, from dusk til' the dawn. And while everyday is a repeating task of protecting Mondstadt...
"Papa, one more joke! One more joke!"
Today was one of those rare days.
The sound of a joyous laughter coming from a child. It could make hearts melt, and eyes soften, even in the midst of knight work. In the usually quiet headquarters of the Knights of Favonius was a very adorable child, and their father, the ever so secretive, Kaeya Alberich. Some of the knights, surround the two look-alikes.
"Oh my. Your son is such a cutie," Lisa cooed, crouching down to meet S/n's innocent eyes. Blue hair, chocolate skin, an attractive face, and a diamond pupil on his big e/c eyes— he looked a lot like his father. The boy shrunk, hiding behind Kaeya's legs, with the said captain, chuckling.
"S/n, this is auntie Lisa. Come on, say hi." The librarian giggles, seeing the boy hide behind Kaeya's legs. "You're such a cutie, dear."
Jean's eyes soften, seeing Kaeya's son, reminding the acting grand master of a time when her little sister was also that short. It made her smile seeing the small boy look at the knights with a shy face. "Is he a mommy's boy or a daddy's boy?" asked the librarian.
"He's a mommy's boy, but since she's with D/n, I have the opportunity to bond with this little one," Kaeya replied, patting his son's head.
"Do you wanna be a knight like your daddy?" Woods asked, bending down to meet S/n's gaze. Lisa, Jean, and Woods waited for a reply, and to their joy, the boy nodded. "I wanna be a knight like mommy." "What's the difference between Mommy and Daddy?" Jean asked the child with curiosity, and as if he was struck with inspiration, he replied with the most energetic of tone, "Mommy's sword is super big! Papa's sword is small!"
PfFt— Lisa and Woods struggled to resist laughing at the cavalry captain, who had a sweatdrop at S/n's choice of words. Jean on the other hand, glared at the two dirty people in the room, and smiled. "Do you wanna use a big sword like mommy?" S/n's eyes sparkled, and he jumped vigorously. "I want to be like mommy!" He grinned, and it looked as if the sun had appeared inside the Favonius office. Poor Lisa, Woods, and Jean are blinded by the sudden pure smile of joy on S/n's face.
