"Assistant"

-HOURS BEFORE BENNETT MEETING Y/N-

There was nothing but dots of glowing white on the ground, and a light that lead her towards something unknown. Something on the other side was a light, something that rivals the blackest of corners where the cave lies. Lisa couldn't help but wonder what was on the other side. What would she find if she follows the dotted path? Was there something, someone waiting for her out there?
Something that held meaning, perhaps?

Before she can take two hesitant little steps, an echo reached her ears. It felt as if that person was warning. The resonance was like that of harmony, only that it contained one word.
           "Don't."
Whispered a familiar voice, as it bounced off  onto the abyss.

Lisa looked back in shocked, but there was no one, but the devouring inky blackness. Only a single glowing butterfly stared back at her, flapping its wings.

And ever so slowly, the scene fades away like a mere memory, and the sounds of birds come back to her.
Lisa's eyes open, and the dawn arrives.

The rays of the beautiful sol shone from her bedroom window, slightly blinding her as her green eyes stare by the window, both swirling in confusion, and a hint of fear. Looking around, everything was exactly as it was meant to be, her in her nightdress, and in her own bed, but there was a new addition to her everyday scene. On her bedside, a breakfast trolley sat with the scent of delicious berries and cecilias caught her attention. That wasn't exactly supposed to be there, but here it was, sitting with delicacies on top. There was a tart of Valberries, and coffee by the side, and along with that a few flowers.
Her eyes followed to the door, where she finds no one, but its mahogany structure.

There was a few sounds, much like footsteps of what could be heels, clicking in the hostel's halls.

Lisa slowly sat, not wanting to eat the suspicious breakfast by her bed, but as the sounds of clicking near, she had readied her catalyst.

And the door opened, and here was the unexpected visitor.
She was, what looked like a human with a gray dress that faded to white. Her hair was h/c and h/t, and her eyes were e/c and vibrant. She looked beautiful, mesmerizing even, but Lisa was more focus on who was the woman before her, and why she was here in her room.

"Good morning," the woman said, sweat dripping at the magic powers swirling in the room. Despite the sun's gaze, it felt as if the lightning coursing through Lisa's body was enough to power the entirety of Teyvat.

"Who might you be?" Lisa asked, holding the floating catalyst in her arms. There was purple lightning everywhere. The stranger replied, albeit panicky, "I'm not a threat, and I'm not here for trouble, now please don't shock me." She plead, adding a few mumbles about how it took ten minutes to find a cute hairstyle.

The lightning however did not cease, and she grew a little more panicky, "I'm Y/n— or uh, better yet I should just say I'm Morgan le Fay, you know? Queen of Fairies, the myth, the legend?"

Lisa's eyes narrowed, and the stranger flinched at the amount of elemental power in Lisa's body.
"The Morgan le Fay? Pardon, but isn't that just a legend?"

"I'm telling the truth! I'm telling the truth!" Y/n exclaimed.
"Besides, shouldn't you be afraid? In reality, it would have been me using my vision against you, if you weren't so young back then. That book you touched decades ago, that was mine," Y/n reasoned out, arms crossed around her chest.

She could see Lisa's eyes widened, and the lightning finally ceased.

"But are you really Morgan le Fay? But then again, you are confident," Lisa was not sure to trust her. I mean, this woman before her is introducing herself as Morgan le Fay. "Here— uh, just give me a second." From her back, she pulled out a small gourd, and upon opening it were many, many butterflies, slowly fluttering away, escaping the doors and the windows.

"No elemental energy, just raw magic. Anyways, about that book you touched before. That was like... 2 decades ago, I assume." Y/n smiled, done with begging that Lisa does not electrocute her fully.

"You're ceasing... that's good. It'd be bad wasting your energy in the morning."

"Anyways, I made breakfast for you, not poisoned, if you're thinking about it. Actually, really delicious. I outdone myself this time."
Lisa looked at the woman, narrowed eyes once again. Y/n's face deadpans in reply.
"Here, I'll taste once to prove it."
So, she nears Lisa's face, looking away from Lisa's gaze as the enchantress takes a slice of tart, and onto her mouth it goes. The blush grew brighter, and her eyes sparkled in reply to its lingering berry taste. "See?"

Lisa was busy, studying Y/n's features when Y/n called her out the second time.

Lisa followed suite,  hesitantly taking the fork, and tasted the tart, and her eyes widened at its flavor. It did taste good, and the Valberries made the dish all too delicious.

"Is there a reason why you're here?" Lisa asked, taking another bite of the tart. Despite this Y/n showing herself as Morgan le Fay, the myth, the legend, and the enchantress hiding in Mondstadt story books, there was an air of warmth and trust.

"So... there is a reason for my presence. Obviously, I didn't come here just to bring you breakfast." The warmth in her eyes remained, but she became a tad more serious about the matter.

"Obviously, one of them was you almost dying in your sleep, yes, the dream, and the other one was, again, about the book."
Y/n sat down on Lisa's armchair, crossing a leg. "It's still eating your life isn't it? I don't usually take pity on you mortals, but you're rather strong for one."

Y/n then said, "Let me be uh... a librarian of sorts." Lisa tilted her head, both in amusement and surprise. "An assistant?" The enchantress nodded. "Besides," Her eyes drifted over to the woman before her, "I have to watch over you. It's my fault after all, I dropped the book somewhere in the first place. I had to reach Sumeru and ask people about you." Lisa couldn't help but tease the enchantress, giggling at the slight blush on her face.

"How interesting, Morgan le Fay, being one of my cute assistants." Lisa hears her grumble, and she laughs more.

And Y/n couldn't help but be enamored with her laugh.

"Well then, its settled. You'll be my cute assistant," Lisa smiles, seeing Y/n look lost, with the blush on her face and her mind crashing back to Teyvat, she nodded.

"Good— and by the way, I hope you don't plan on calling me your cute assistant."

"No promises, fufu."
