"Today is Yoosin's birthday and I have prepared something epic. Well me and Jimin," I say to boys during recess. "Jimin, where's Yoosin?"
"He's cleaning the science lab for the morning problem," Jimin said. According to the plan, he had to keep Yoosin away from us. So he made Yoosin spill baking soda all over the class.
"Ok, well the plans are quite simple. Soobin is ready for our phase 1 of the plan. And later we will do phase 2," I say. "The main thing is Yoosin should never know." The boys salute to me and I salute back.
After recess, Jimin, Lee and Daniel head to the broadcast studio for the birthday plan. I close my locker and find Yoosin beside me. "Hey, I could meet my girlfriend for the whole day!" he complained.
"Well, not now Yoosin. I have to go," I say quickly.
"Where?!" he yells as I run.
"Studio!" I yell back.
Luckily I see Sunghoon pulling Yoosin away so that he doesn't follow me. Whew!
"What's wrong with Neha today?" I ask Sunghoon while we wait for them in class.
"Neha? Nothing is wrong with her! She's just busy I guess," he says.
Suddenly the speakers turn on. "Yoosin-ah!" I hear Neha's voice through the speakers. "Happy birthday!" The boys are singing with her. Happiness tears come in my eyes. I smile as Sunghoon pats me on the back.
After their song, Lee, Jimin, Soobin and Daniel enters the classroom. I thank them as they pat me on the back. I keep my eyes stuck on the door as class starts. "Where is she?" I turn to Daniel. "Psst! Daniel!" Before he could respond, the teacher yells my name.
I run towards the bathroom in the ice skating place. I slowly unwrap the bandage on my ankle. A few days ago, my ankle sprained during a PE lesson, but I never told anybody. The doctor told me to move my ankle much, but I am willing to sacrifice for Yoosin's birthday. I will ice skate with how he taught me till now and hand him the cake. The routine is simple for him, difficult for me. I hope he likes it.
