I wake to the sound of my alarm. Today is my birthday. It has been 3 months since Yoosin and I started dating. It felt weird at first while walking in the corridors, holding hands. But now it feels much more normal.
I check my phone to see any birthday wishes. Sunghoon, Lee, Jimin and Daniel sent me wishes. Not Yoosin. He must be sleeping, I tell myself to hide the disappointment. I decide to call Yoosin after breakfast. I called him thrice but no answer. I call Daniel.
"Hey Neha," he says on the other side of the line. "Happy Birthday."
"Thanks, Daniel. Have you seen or heard from Yoosin?" I ask.
"No, why? Did he not wish you today?"
"Um, not till now. Maybe he is just busy."
"Oh. He's like that sometimes. Don't worry Neha."
"I guess. Do you want to go out? We can call the others too."
"Uh, I can't. I'm in the middle of something," Daniel says. "Sorry."
"Nah, no probs. Bye."
"Bye," he hangs up.
I type a message in out group chat.

Anyone free today? We can hang out sometime today.
No reply. I waited for 30mins but still no reply. It just seemed so weird that even Jimin didn't see my message. Usually he is the first one to message back.
fI decide to go out a bit and headed towards Sunghoon's house. I wait for him to open the door after knocking. At last he opens up.
"Hey Neha," he says.
"Hey Sunghoon," I walk into his house, but he pushes me back. "Whhat?"
"My dog pooped inside the house!" he says quickly.
"You don't even have a dog."
"I mean, my neighbour's sister's daughter's brother's son's dog. Mochi."
