When Chuuya and I arrived we were sent straight to Mori's office where he already waited for us.

"Ah I see you're back. And you brought the boy."

Mori looked over to Chuuya who impatiently tapped his finger.

Before Chuuya had the chance to ask why he's here, Mori spoke up: "You're probably wondering why you're here."

Chuuya looked at the ground.

"Let me explain what I want from you two. You know the former mafia boyy died a few weeks ago?"

I nodded and looked at the ground.

Yeah i knew how he died. I was the only wittness after all.

"Yes I did kill him. But only because that old man only had killing on his mind. His last request was to kill everyone he wanted revenge on. And I didn't want that so I cut his throat and saved us from him. "

I was seriously surprised at Mori's words.

I never thought he's admit something like that straight away. Means this situation must be serious.

"Before I explain the mission to you two..." He stood up and walked towards Chuuya.

"Are you with us young man?"

Chuuya laughed: "You've got to be kidding me! I'm definitely not gonna help you stupid mafia! I have my own organization to take care of and don't have time for things that don't involve me."

"Oh about that..." Mori stepped back and looked out the window.

"I knew you wouldn't agree that easily. You like those kids pretty much hm?"

Chuuya looked away and crossed his arms: "Of course I love them. They're like the family I never had before."

Mori chuckled softly: "Then it would be a shame if they were shot by some of my people wouldn't it?"

Chuuya froze. I could tell he wanted to say something. He wanted to scream or cry but all he could do was breathe heavily while looking at Mori.

"So do you plan on helping us, dear Chuuya?"

Chuuya looked at the floor and nodded: "If I help you now, you won't hurt any of my friends right?"

Mori smiled and nodded and Chuuya.

Chuuya agreed to the plan and promised not to betray the port mafia before he's done with the mission.

After that Mori's showed us a footage of our old boss who was supposed to be dead.

"He was seen committing crimes all over the city. I want you two to find out why a man I killed myself is now here and killing people."

I nodded: "This might be an ability user. Maybe transforming into other people or bringing back the dead."

Mori agreed: "I think it's someone trying to use the rumors of our old boss to commit crimes."

"I think this might have something to do with Arahabaki."

Mori sighed at Chuuya's words.

After a long silence in which I kept staring at Mori and Chuuya and thinking about the footage, Mori broke the silence and spoke up: "I know someone who might help you with this case. We call him Rando. He is the only person who survived an explosion involving Arahabaki years ago. He may have lost his memory but he might help you."

I nodded and took the paper Mori slid over his desk to us.

After Chuuya and I made our way outside I showed him the paper where Rando's adress was written down.

As we were making our way to Rando nobody has said a word.

I was curious about my new partner for that mission so I started a conversation: "You must really love thise kids huh?"

Chuuya gave me a confused look before looking up at the sky: "Well of course! I said it already they're like family to me!"

I looked down trying to think of ways to keep this conversation going. Before I could come up with something Chuuya already spoke up: "Are there any members in the port mafia who are your age?"

I was surprised at his questions but still glad he actually talked to me.

"Well not really. I do have friends and people I'm close with there though."

"I think we're here. This is where Rando lives right?"

I looked up and nodded.

I'm sorry to interrupt your reading but I wanted to say I'm very thankful for everyone reading this fanfic even though it's not finished yet. I was trying a little harder with this chapter. Since I don't have enough time to rewatch the manga I will have to look up the plot and try to write it. I might leave out some things in the story tho because it's Dazai's point of view. Some parts will be based on the actual story and the rest is my own story.
