Leafy's POV

As I shut the door, I turn to see firey standing there in pure confusion.

"what was that about?"

"I'm not sure, but anyways if you want ill sleep on my beanbag and you on the bed."

"hmm, sure."

firey walks up to my bed as I wrap myself in a blanket, getting ready to sleep.

I start to doze off to sleep, shutting my eyes slowly.

Voices surround me.

"You're a disappointment.

"You're father's dead because of you."

"nobody likes you."

"just die already."

I wake up shivering in fear, tears rolling down my cheeks while my eyes sting from trying to hold back most of my hard sobs.

I look over to my right side and see firey sleeping peacefully. I know what I'm about to do is wrong, but I can't help it.

I crawl over to my bed and slip into the empty side next to him. I cuddle in with him as he wraps his arms around me.

I feel my eyes close as I fall asleep.

Firey's POV:

I wake up to see leafy asleep in my arms. How did this happen?

I quickly get up and shake leafy awake softly.

"mhm, five more minutes."

"Leafy?"

She jumps out of bed and starts apologizing.

"I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to, I swear!"

"oh uh, it's fine, I guess."

Stay.

"Just don't let it happen again."

Come back

"Oh, okay ill go wake up the others."

As she shuts the door behind her, I scream in her pillow.

What's wrong with me?

Why do I keep messing up?

Does she even like me back? Are we even friends!

God, I should stop stressing about this.

"Firey! Are you coming to eat breakfast?"

"huh- oh yeah! ill be there now!"

I uhh new uh schedule yeah.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, I will be planning for the next chapter (Maybe ill post a chapter but it will probably be short.)

On weekends I will post a chapter maybe on Monday if I need more time but yeah.
