The Alpha and the Breeder

It seems like yesterday that our dad came back and we were raised by him. After my 13th birthday, me and Alpha's son, Spirit, decided to become friends and bond a little. Many years passed. Our dad no longer raises us. We are full-grown wolves now. I really wanted to be my mother, the pack breeder. I was a huntress. Hope was also a huntress. Devil was a warrior, Night was a scout, Canyon was a hunter, Mako was a hunter, and Flash was a hunter. Spirit was now Alpha. Mother died of old age a year ago, we finally figured out our old alpha's name: Blossom. She is now the pack elder. Even after I became a huntress and Spirit became alpha, we were still hanging out with each other. Sometimes he would invite me to go hunting with him, "Hey, Lucky."

"Hey, Spirit."

"Do you wanna go hunting with me?" 

"Of course I do."

It would always be a perfect hunt. We rarely argued. Hunting with Spirit makes me feel amazing. Sometimes, I would invite him to explore the land we would run on tomorrow. "Hey, Spirit."

"Lucky. Hi"

"Do  you wanna go explore the land with me?"

"I would want to do everything with you."

We would both figure out the best paths for the pack. Though there was this one time where Spirit invited me to explore. "Hey Lucky."

"Hello, Spirit," I said back respectfully.

"Do you wanna explore the land with me?" he asked.

"Of course, I do," I said back.

"Let's go. I wanna show you something." Spirit said to me. I then followed him. We were running across beautiful meadows and thickets. Finally, we came up to something with a green bush in the way. We jumped over it, and I saw the most amazing sight. It was a big view of the entire land. "What rank have you always wanted to be?" Spirit asked me.

"I always wanted to be my mother, the pack breeder," I responded back.

"We should go get the pack and bring them to this beautiful cave," Spirit said as he moved some green leaves out of the way, revealing a beautiful cave for the pack members, and a beautiful cave for the pack breeder. We went back and brought the pack.

"I have literally never seen anything more beautiful," Hope said.

"Everyone. I would like to make an announcement." Spirit said as he was on his rock. All the pack members sat in front of the rock he was sitting on. "I would like to announce the pack breeder."

Hope then shook me a little while smiling. "I doubt it," I said to her.

"The pack breeder is..." Spirit paused for dramatic effect "Lucky!"

I gasped. All the wolves cheered for me. I couldn't believe my ears. Spirit chose me for pack breeder. "I-i don't know what to say. Thank you!" I said to Spirit.

"Your welcome, P.B." Spirit said.

"P.B.?" I asked.

"Pack Breeder." Spirit translated.

I moved into my cave. I couldn't wait to get started.
